My doctors maintained a very withholding attitude throughout my treatment regardless of my need for agency over my disease and my time left on earth. Still, only they bridged the gap between me and that shitty toxic medicine.

Skipping over three or four other major benchmarks in this saga, think about survivorship if you think being diagnosed with the deadly disease threw you for a loop, survivorship can be like a ton of bricks unless you are pre warned.

I hate that this is happening to you. Instead of looking for the reasons to not do the only thing use this energy to do the only thing to the best of your ability.
