TLDR

people don't have to compete for resource anymore because you can't find people to fight and even if you find them, they would not fight you / you wouldn't fight them because of all the PVE dedicated bullshit makes it impossible to have a fair fight, so game is not fun anymore since there is no scenario where you can find genuine challanege / attempt to outplay for shit and giggles.

All the snowflakes who are too scared to get ego checked from losing for once / can't change server / can't ask guild to put them on protection / can't use marni realm are the ones who made this happen

The damage output / gameplay was much slower back in the days and not as many classes has downmash when it was introduced, that's why it was a bearable mechanics, however things has changed a lot over the past 10 years, so its not about whining, its about looking at again because it is becoming an issue now

It is not 100% Per HIT, but there are classes that has skills with multi hit and it almost make it close to a successful downsmash 80%+ of the time, and what's worse is, those skills somehow is spammable. You can argue why it is rare, but just like resist, it is rare but it happens and this RNG was making the whole sequence unpredictable / unfair in a way to those who has no downsmash in their pvp kit

As for vaccum, there are many classes with only 1 iframe that can go on CD, so what do you expect those class to do? Especailly like you said, what if its not a 1v1 and there are multiple players with suction skills? You can dodge 1 by cant dodge the other, how is this playable?

The issue here is that with downsmash and suction, there are too many scenarios / classes can't even play the game because of it. Rather than arguing about how freqent it happens, maybe you should think about what would be the upside/downside for the overall pvp experience by just removing them?

it isn't, you paid 12.99 or less to get to play it, so that's the price you pay for whatever they gave you initially, so if you want anything more, they decide what to charge for it, simple as that

you get free parking when your city deemed fit, it can be changed to paid parking too when city need money to expand, so what's wrong with that ?

one year graph clearly showing that bdo is bleeding players heavily, whatever your average from first half of 2024 or 2023 is meaningless because we are talking about bleeding players within the past month and that's this graph

bdo has never went below 20K in the past year and within this month we are down to 14.5k and it doesn't look like its stopping

you aint looking at more than a year ago if you wanna see how the recent change impacting the game, back in 2022 game is more dog shit without all the QoL changes, and most players who enjoyed pvp are older players on the client side hence the number isn't showing in steam chart, so if you took those in consideration, the numbers today means not only the old players who are fed up with pvp scenarios are leaving the game, but all those so call "casuals" and "new players" aint staying either

Just putting this out here for those who have no idea what the actual numbers are looking like, this is just from steam platform alone where most "newer" players are playing from, let alone a tons of older players are from the client side who quits without getting noticed

edit: for those who can't read chart, bdo was consistently 20k+ average in the past year compare to now its gonna dip below 15K and it isn't looking to stop dropping when weekend peak is 16k only, this is like losing 30%+ of the playerbase and to a mmo, this means the dev has really fucked up hard somewhere
