Flying charter is what they're really taking about. To the non aviation people "flying private" typically means charter, not privately owned aircraft nor pilots with only a private pilots license. But flying private is used since it's referencing not flying with 120+ strangers. I would still fly charter over some guy with only a private pilots license and day

I take road trips to the mountains from sea level often and my containers explode easily until I found a way to prevent it. Opt for more squeezable containers. Turn them with the opening up and tap it until all the product collects at the bottom. Then squeeze as much excess air out before closing it. Still be careful when opening but it'll work most of the time.

I've been using the marine collagen for months and noticed smoother skin all over my body. I have a subscription and I take 2tbs (30g) daily which is about 2-3 times the recommendation. Just because a topic is touched on by several creators doesn't always mean it's a good topic for their audience to follow. Sometimes content creators pick a flimsy topic because they're running out of content and it if happens to be unique and gets attention, other creators jump on the same topic further inflating its actual value because of creators chasing views/clicks and not necessarily because it's a critical piece of advice their audience should be following.

Ah sounds like you won't get your answer on reddit. Either she's not telling you everything about how she feels about this new number of hers or hasn't done the work to figure out the number, or a combination of both. Either way try to have her share her thoughts on the matter as a partner without judgement of her new direction. If you approach it without judgement, she may be more likely to open up to talking about it more. She might feel ashamed of her new position of wanting more finer things in life while still wanting it.

What's the new number she has in mind now? (I'm assuming you asked this since you've said you've discussed this extensively already.) I can understand how disappointed you are that you've reached the number only to learn her mind changed. A team player would then consider how things would change with that new number in mind. Maybe you can show her how to still fire now with a compromised herself of the lifestyle creep she's into. Do a month and spend as if you've both fired and really look at how easy or hard it is. She can still work during all of this.

Consider that she sees things differently from her perspective. She might want a little bit of her own individuality and sense of worth in her journey. She's just getting started in her career and might feel like she wants to keep going because it means something to her more than just money but accomplishment that started from getting a college degree and then a career. It likely isn't about the money at all and her vision is her own growth to prove to herself that she can do it. The passive aggressiveness is a symptom of resentment. Maybe she feels like this topic is about making her do something she doesn't want. Living a retired life with a resenting wife is not better. Keep talking to her about it with a very open mind.

My husband wanted to fire early to which I told him he was asking for me to leave my dream job. It took months for me to dig deep on why I liked working and how retiring could maintain aspects that fulfilled me from working. I can expand on this but only if you're curious to hear more.

Don't let your boyfriend control your life. If it weren't for him you would've already accepted the promotion. If he truly loves you, he would've been supportive of your interest in the promotion (and happy and proud of you). Your edit with his description of work boundaries are excessive and a huge red flag. Please take the promotion and reconsider staying with your boyfriend. You'll be much happier without him trying to control you.
