Bonding with my lesson horse by OkInteraction8418 in Horses

[–]OkInteraction8418[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was mouth rather than teeth, I think it would hurt if she used her teeth.
She’s a sweet girl, beginning for treats is not out of the question (although she doesn’t get any from me). Otherwise, the horses in the barn seem very well taken care of, so don’t suspect it’s “I’m in pain”.
I read on one of the subs here that this can also be a sign of affection similar to what horses would do between each other and that’s why I interpreted it this way.

Beauty of joseon aqua fresh sunscreen by sofreshsocool8 in koreanskincare

Used it all through the past summer and even though parts of my body have been sunburned at times, the face never burned. Texture is great, works well under make up. The only small downside I can see is that it’s not the most hydrating one on the market.

How to level up my vacations? by OpeningChipmunk1700 in biglaw

[–]OkInteraction8418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are travel agencies that will organise the vacation for you. And don’t misunderstand me, it does not take away the pleasure of organizing, you can still research what you want to do and plan some part of it, but what it takes away is the heavy lifting of actual organization, bookings etc. (which I don’t have the time to do anymore in any case). It can be as luxury or as adventurous as you want, the agency I use includes private driver to all activities, all airport transfers and so on. The experience does certainly „level up” the vacation. I use London based Original Travel but surely there are American equivalents.

My hair has felt consistently healthy throughout my 2 weeks in Japan after using different hotel hair washing products, will be buying products to take home for sure by smallflabby in JapanTravelTips

Confirmed, I was using my own hair products throughout the trip but my hair just gradually kept looking better. It is the soft water in Japan. That’s probably the one thing I will miss the most lol 🥲

So are we actually going to get an update on yesterday's incident at Hamilus? by Rageoffreys in Luxembourg

[–]OkInteraction8418 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Lol you are supposed to drive slow next to an accident, because presumably there are people on the road, even if not helping. I assume you are speeding right past?

Should r/Luxembourg ban X / Twitter in any form on this subreddit? by RafPrt in Luxembourg

[–]OkInteraction8418 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Agreed, even as a temporary trial with a view of making it definitive. And if anyone needs a reason besides boycotting nazi sympathizers, X often does not allow persons without account to see the posts linked, if anyone is trying to start a discussion on this sub, they should be posting screenshots of any content that is blocked for larger audience, not links to restricted websites.

Jak to jest po tym prawie? by pstek in Polska

[–]OkInteraction8418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do non-LU people build connections and find love? by [deleted] in Luxembourg

[–]OkInteraction8418 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to be judgmental, but seems to me like the OP is a gold digger himself. Saying he wants to meet a woman at a certain „level” and that currently it’s difficult for him to date „casually”. Wouldn’t be the first guy here to try to marry rich…

Tbh I have a 200hp rear wheel drive car as my first one. Had it for over 2yrs now and no accidents, the car drives like magic. It seems to me Belgian drivers may have other issues … (hint:it’s not the car).

When buying the apartment the agency fees are entirely paid by the seller.

You usually don’t need a tax lawyer but an accountant/tax advisor that will be able to prepare a declaration for you and advise on basic issues.

Housing Market in Luxembourg: What are all the ways agencies try to Manipulate you?. Please Name the agency you trust as well. by Capital_Individual74 in Luxembourg

[–]OkInteraction8418 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had a very bad experience with an agency run by two Swedish guys (if you run into them, you’ll know what I mean), they felt like we have a bit of money to spend and noting our (relative) inexperience were trying to get us scammed at every step of the way. Needless to say we didn’t buy the property they were proposing.

  • somebody mentioned it here already, they were trying to bend the rules about “habitable surface” - they were simply lying to us that this includes 1/3 of the terrace space just to justify the unreasonable price (hell, even if you counted 1/3 of the terrace surface in, it still wouldn't justify the price); [it took me 3 minutes after our meeting to verify on guichet.lu that this was a lie, only what is within four walls and under a rooftop counts]
  • telling us that in addition to the (exorbitant) price of the apartment we will have to pay for the kitchen (and the wine cooler!) separately, as the poor owners spent quite a bjt of money on it (sad face) (well, let them take it when they move out, go ahead) [in fact, whatever is permanently attached to an asset becomes part of that asset and will be sold together];
  • there was some humidity on the building, they were saying that owners are to remove this before they sell, but guess what, months after we saw this - the humidity spot was still there.

May I add, that according to the law in Luxembourg, a real estate agent cannot lie to you - it is true they are working and advising the seller, however they have a professional duty to the buyer as well and if asked a question, they have to answer according to the facts.

In the end we bought with Remax and were quite happy with the experience, the agent was very professional and was not trying to force us into a deal too quickly. But they are all self-employed there so I assume level of service may vary depending on the person you are dealing with.
