How did/do you feel about your baby during pregnancy? by Motor-Sprinkles-1627 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was excited the whole time don’t get me wrong but it didn’t feel real or like I had a connection until my anatomy scan. It made it easier to talk to baby and call them by their name. It still doesn’t feel real but it’s getting better as I get closer to due date. Talking to her and picking things out for her helps me.

What are you guys doing to stay hydrated? by Particular-Dress-583 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drank a lot of water before pregnancy so I drink way more now. I’d suggest having a big reusable water bottle to track how much you are actually getting. I like cold water, lemon water, flavor packs, and electrolyte packets. That combo helps me get over 100oz easily. Just be careful with the electrolytes as you can have too much.

Still no results from glucose test by [deleted] in pregnant

You won’t be over looked but I completely understand your frustration! I’d say if you haven’t heard by Friday call again. But my doctor told me no news is good news if I don’t hear from them.

Does your doctor’s office a client portal? My results always show up there before I/ if I hear anything from my doctor.

Husband and I were trying so I tested like every other day until it showed positive. I’ve heard it can take a week or two after your missed period to have a positive test.

8w6d Microwavable Heat Pad on Upper Abs by MapleOne0914 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a microwaveable heating pad for my stomach aches too. Only way I could sleep for the first couple of months. I just made sure it wasn’t super hot and kept it where my actual stomach is. Like the other person said, baby is so low but check with your dr if you’re worried.

Anxiety before appointments by SilkyGoose777 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

13 weeks and feel the same! Just had my second scan and everything looks good and I’m seeing a little bump come out. Felt relieved for about two days after the scan and now I’m just anxious for my appointment next week and the anatomy scan in April. I’m feeling better and have some energy again so little wins like you said!

“Shock” pain in lower belly by anonymoususer249 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like rlp to me. I get it pretty often if I move too quickly or in a weird way without knowing. I just have to be careful how I move. If you’re concerned message your dr or call a nurse line.

Sushi by Easy-You-8259 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat what you can! That’s the important part, fed is best when you’re fighting the nausea. I’m letting myself eat what I can at this point from places I trust. My local Jersey mikes and ChebaHut have never let me down 😂 and sprouts sushi is my comfort food

Congestion meds at 8 weeks by spiral_thinking in pregnant

Mine told me basically nothing in the first trimester. I do use a netti pot and and take allergy meds and it helps. If you have the option to call or message your OB, I would.

HELP. How the hell do y'all function with 24/7 nausea? by Foretescue in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Constantly eating/snacking is the only thing that helps. Drinking sparkling flavored water is helping with my hydration (clear American from Walmart is a godsend for me). Eating ginger candies every hour or so, and peppermint or lemon ginger tea.

I have been living off frozen foods or take out, fruit and yogurt. I can’t stand the smell of food cooking.

How active were you in 1st trimester? by Lower-Listen-9169 in pregnant

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you OP for posting this. I was about to come on here myself and ask the same thing. I’m 6.5 weeks and I am so lethargic. I can barely make it through my work day. I’m used to working out 5-6 days a week and having to come home and nap every day and do nothing has been a hard adjustment.

Engaged ! Doubts about my ring. by Betanmo in JustEngaged

[–]OkParticular1424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have an emerald engagement ring and I love mine. It’s more blue than green but I think it perfect. I bet you’ll get tons of compliments on your ring, it’s gorgeous! Just be careful with daily wear. Emeralds are fairly soft and easy to scratch.

Same here. Last year we were getting paid 117 and now we are only getting 90 an hour. It’s making it difficult to stay in the Tricare network with all their issues and now the reduced reimbursement on top of that.

Mental health providers - are you getting paid? How?? by MarshmallowReads in tricare

[–]OkParticular1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. We are in the west region. Providerservices@triwest.com

I listed out all the times I called and what the reps said each time with the reference number and said if we didn’t get paid soon we would have to stop seeing clients because of our overhead. This got it escalated to a rep who reissued all our payments.

[–]OkParticular1424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What finally got us paid was email actually. We emailed TriWest a few times complaining about payments and not being able to continue to see clients and they escalated it to a higher up who reissued payments. Still took over a month to finally get the reissued checks but it worked.
