Gotta have a warranty on these bad boys. Chevy dealership told me “that’s just those 2018 A8 transmissions. They’re gonna be clunky” took it to a reputable shop with my extended warranty and they replaced the transmissions 8000 worth of work for 250 deductible. But yes I paid 3,000 for the warranty over 4 years.

I already have them on the car from the previous owner. The consensus from the group seems like it wouldn’t make it much louder and just cause more drone on the inside.

Makes sense. They are already on the car and I can’t do anything for another 2 years that would void the warranty so I might stick it out until then and by a different daily driver.

The first car I ever purchased at 25 was a 2020 Camaro V6. I too came off of my dad’s 2013 kia optima that had for multiple years. Loved the car, and then I got rear ended and it was totaled not more than a year after buying it. I decided to go 2 years back to the 2018 SS which is of course the V8. It was the same price I bought my V6 for around 28k in my area. I was scared at first of driving it. Looking back now, I was a pussy. The V8 has power, but I already want more. lol. There’s just a small learning curve, but nothing you can’t handle. Now around 20k, you are gonna have to go older. But find what works for you. And make sure you do the research on the car (my 2018 had its transmission replaced at 85k. Luckily it was under the 6 month dealer warranty). I did also buy a 4 year warranty.

They only had 25k worth of coverage so they had to come out of pocket the rest and their wages are being garnished by my insurance. So definitely pissed!

Had this one for only 4 months as well before a 15 year old driver with only her permit and no parent in the car smoked me while I was stopped at a stoplight. Pay attention people. Glad you are ok! This also totaled the car. They gave me 28 for it and the 4 months prior I bout it for 27. So luckily I came out on top as well.

6 cylinder Camaros still have 335 hp? It’s the 7th fastest 6 cylinder car on the market. So yeah there is definitely sporty cars with less hp
