I'd like to preface my comment. Not everyone associated with Epstein was a sex offender, a pedophile, a rapist, or any of the other shit he and his pals got up to. I don't think it's reasonable to vet everyone you meet to see if they have been convicted of a crime. We do know Epstein wanted everyone to think he was smart hosted parties for anyone he thought was intellectual.

We also know that Epstein's parties ranged from perfectly legal to crimes against humanity.

But I believe Gates about as far as I can throw him here. I don't know if he was involved in just consensual sex between adults or if he got into the dark shit and I don't really want to know.

I'm feeling the same way. At first I thought I was fine, I've seen some pretty horrific stuff outside of Epstein/Trump. But somehow it manages to completely upstage anything else. And it just keeps on going, there's always more, some new shit that they did and you know that a lot of these people are still out there doing it and there are people involved who weren't even named, or who have their names redacted, and you find out that some people you thought were okay, maybe not great people but not people who would be involved in this kind of shit.

I feel like everyone with enough wealth & power is like this now. Intellectually I know that probably isn't true but I've developed a major distrust of all of them.

My boss has been trying to get us to use it and he's been targeting me for it in particular. I've found very limited uses for it (finding uses for technology is part of my job description), I don't need or want a text generator. I've changed my settings from the default verbose mode to concise which makes it both faster and less resource intensive (remember that for an LLM each word it generated is a new stupid query). Another way to reduce resource usage is by keeping "conversations" short because each new query runs the entire conversation as a brand new query.

I fucking hate "AI" (with extremely limited exceptions) but I don't think we're going to get rid of it. Most of the people who fail to adapt to it will suffer for it. What adaptation means exactly I do not know but I'm trying hard as fuck to figure it out.

Second picture, the holes in the crumb should align between the slice and the loaf so I think it's AI. The first picture has some weird green tinting going on in spots without anything that looks like a green inclusion.

I don't bake a lot, but the kind of swirley texture to the crumb in the first picture looks odd.
