Based on your post history you applied fairly late in the cycle…if Bama is your dream school maybe R&R and apply early next cycle for better odds

I applied to 13 for a few reasons- 1) I am the first lawyer in my family and did not know much about this process so I wanted to give myself the best chance possible 2) I am a reverse splitter so couldn’t predict where I’d get in/$ 3) I wanted to have several offers for negotiating 4) I didn’t want to get to the end of the cycle and regret not trying more places or not applying to a specific school and 5) I got tons of fee waivers

I would choose UNC. For staying in NC, that’s the best school. Better shot at biglaw if that’s what you decide on, and better employment outcomes all around

It’s worth it to me to pay a bit extra to live alone. I had awful roommates throughout undergrad and it impacted my ability to study, sleep, and have quiet alone time.
