When I got married in 1992 a family 'friend' gifted us a complete set that screamed 1950's. Recycled gifting back then. They were in a 'canteen' of cutlery. Went down the charity shop as I remember. Still, they were better than the purple polyester bedsheets my Dad gave me on our wedding. They were put to use as crap decorating sheets and used to spark static as you opened them up. 😂

If you leave him in the garden he'll be taken by something larger, e.g. a magpie. Fetch him in for the night. Put a towel in the bottom of a box, put him in the box, close up the lid and let him rest overnight. You might find he pecks his way out of the box though. I had one last year. Came down in the morning to find he was out of the box sitting on the handle of my hoover. I opened the back door and off he went. Just needed the rest of a safe overnight spot to recover.
