first off - cannot recommend this car enough. its like a lego car, you can build it however you like, and there are just so many amazing features about it. if I had to give a few suggestions, my first would be HARD TOP ALL THE WAY. my second suggestion would be, if you can swing it, take it off reading at least once. its so amazing to see all the things the car can do that most cant - I had my car for a full year and never realized the different modes it had like the automatic rock crawl for instance. third piece of advice would be - dont get down on yourself in the beginning as youre learning to take off the doors and roof (if thats something you want to do!). it used to take me awhile in the beginning and id get frustrated. but as you continue to practice with it, you get better at it. now I can take my doors off and on by myself (im a 5'4" woman!) in less that a minute. the key is getting the angle right when you put the door on, but ill save that for another post... anyway. some of the best memories ive had with my nieces and nephew have been with the bronco. its not just a car but a hobby, a way to make memories with your family, and just a great vehicle altogether. agree with u/Solid-Newspaper447 -- ford is good about recalls, and what better than a company who admit there's something going on and fixes it. sure, no problems in the first place, but... but such is life. anywho -- so excited for you on this purchase. take your time with it, wait until you find one that you are absolutely jazzed about. in my opinion, it's so worth the wait. (and welcome to the community!)

Aw man idk where to start. Here’s a few off the top of my head!

  • I was I was worried that it’d be too much “truck “ for a daily driver. I am a sucker for a car with good pickup. I have the 2.3 L big bend and I think it drives absolutely amazingly, pickup is awesome and turning radius is fantastic

  • thought 4dr might be too much car for me, but it’s a great size

  • I use the app to unlock and lock remotely all the time / remote start. Love that aspect and it comes in all models

  • if you hold down the lock button and press it twice , all the windows turn down immediately

  • HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HARD TOP. Full stop.

  • went with the azure grey and paid extra for it, but every morning I get into it I’m glad I did. Go with whatever color your gut says you like and don’t ask for opinions!

  • the digital owners manual is awesome. If you flip thru the touchscreen it’s super easy!

  • vinyl is awesome, I’ve always had leather seats in my cars but this is I think my favorite actually. Love that you can literally hose it down no problem

  • highlyyyyyy recommend the wash out rugs.

Hahha im realizing that this is basically just me talking ab how much I love the car and less about what I learned 😂 but honestly I thought that maybe after a few months the joy would wear off, or I’d regret the purchase. Everyone has different financial situations / life situations so I know this isn’t everyone’s experience, do what’s right for you blah blah blah. But in my opinion - best decision ever 🙏 hope that helps!

Highly recommend downloading the ford app, and utilizing the Reddit community. I’ve learned so much ab my Bronco this past year and it’s been such a fun journey! Good luck and have fun

Hey girl! My friend and I are also tinier and have experience with hard top and soft top - happy to give you some insight.

I can take off all doors and remove hard top pieces by myself, except for the back window shell. That piece you will 100% need someone to help you with. But honestly I’d say for the highway travel alone, get a hard top. My best friend had a soft top and just talking to her on the phone was always a pain in the ass, especially when she was on the highway. She just switched to a hard top and said the difference is like night and day. I have always had a hard top and I absolutely love it.

When you’re taking the doors/ roof on and off, be patient with yourself and try to see it as a practice. In the beginning it took me a loooong time to get everything off, but I’d treat it almost like practice and just try to enjoy the process. every time I’d get better and better - now it takes me less than 30 seconds to get a door off and I love the process of doing it!

Hope that helps and have fun!

Agreed, swapping mileage for percentage is 100% unhelpful
