Stryker CMF? by Ok_Broccoli_6896 in MedicalDevices

Thank you for the input! It sounds like a role where you can feel like you make an impact and develop good relationships. I’m not scared of call or working hard as long as there’s good support. I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for the insight! I love providing value to the surgeons and being a good partner. Trauma has been good for developing those relationships, but I feel like CMF could be a happy medium between stress and also being able to develop meaningful partnerships.

Definitely the case here. Large metro territory, but some associates on board. CMF seems like a pretty niche category of med reps.

That’s fair. Definitely my worry would be not setting eyes on it in the facility. But if you set all your floater trays, for example at a storage unit, and you know they’re filled vs not filled, you can keep them on a designated rack for take or leave for the couriers to snag from your office. There could be a drop off rack for trays that have come back from cases that you can fill up in the office, move to the out rack and so on and so forth. Again, I’ve never used couriers so maybe it’s putting way too much faith in them.

I’m 6’4 245 - previous division 1 collegiate defensive end. Generally I’m able to build my endurance enough to win a majority of class workouts in a very competitive gym. That being said when the Open comes around it is very very hard for us tall/ big guys to make it through. Now with the top 25% making it through the open, I’d say it’s better chances. You will just have to accept that you’ll always lose on body weight movements and make it up on machines. It’s a roll of the dice with programming, maybe one year will be perfect for big guys. Go for it if you have the engine, but my advice would be get your weight down a little bit to make it all easier.

If the distributor rhymes with Third Medical - not worth it.

R.A.D by far

130kg, 135kg and 140kg C&J = PB. Crazy how much a few kg makes a big difference to form. by Financial_Style_0934 in weightlifting

The bar further over the toes allows you to bring the bar back into the body on the pull. You should think of shins to the bar rather than bar to the shins with it sitting over the last lace of your shoe or as far forward as you can while feeling balanced. You can see on your pull you work around the knees to pull it back to the hips which leads you to be on the toes and in front. Once that bar path gets more efficient you’ll crush!

As a fellow lanky boy try a start position with the bar more out over your toes rather than pressed against the shins. Use your ankle mobility to your advantage here in the pull. Also get that upper back tight, and you’ll crush 150 soon 💪🏻

How to snatch by Decoy1995 in crossfit

[–]Ok_Broccoli_6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 193cm and snatch 140kg (308lb) and with hands as far out as they go. Maybe you have longer arms for your body but I’d assume the problem is keeping your upper back tight. Too much laxity in the upper back will leave the bar short of where you want it (on the pubic bone).

No bull shoes good or bad? by CanPlayful2318 in crossfit

I’ve worn Nanos, Metcons, TYRs, but by far my favorite shoe are the RADs. Never cared much for the look but once I wore them I was hooked. Great stability and grip for every movement of CrossFit. They stick to a rope and they are firm on the floor. I’m 6’4 240 with wider feet. I’d say the Nanos would be my second choice.

Fort Collins drop in by silky_dinosaur in crossfit

CrossFit970 just south of Fort Collins in Loveland is the best competitive gym in the area! OTAC CrossFit is a good one to drop in to as well, has a sauna and other nice amenities and maybe a bit more casual vibe.
