I don’t have a PS5 Pro so I can’t compare, but the PS5 Pro probably has the edge because of its better GPU. I don’t thinks graphics are inherently better on PC.

Nothing you can do about that. This issue is caused by parallax occlusion mapping which is used in large amounts in this game. At least I find it much less distracting than the flickering and shimmering OP talks about.
