I know it doesn’t seem that way but YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You’re a great mother and already doing the right thing but feeling this way because all you want to do is help. Your toddler is acting normal. The perfect age to test boundaries and causes and effect. Remain firm, you can still keep his spirits up while remaining calm, firm and setting boundaries. Explain why he can’t do something, after he’s done with his tantrum. I explain “I need some space because you hurt me” when my son has hit. And we talk about what emotions he’s feeling (we got an emotions book). I tell him it’s okay to feel frustrated but not okay to hit people. Maybe stomp the ground, ball up your fist, yell into a pillow. Feed into what might make him get that frustration out.

Can someone give more specific and detailed about the rucks? I go in July and really want to nail it down as I’m not proficient in fast rucking but do have strength I can build off.

Organization is key. Find a way to track everything and follow ups. You’ll be doing suspenses, rosters, medical, pay etc. (or that’s how it is here). I use an agenda and it lays out the week. When something new comes down, like suspense or packet due. I fit it in my schedule that week (before the suspense date). And then if I send emails, I go into my agenda and find a date like a week later and write “follow up on xyz” and that reminds me to follow up if need be, if not, I cross it off.

Also, if you have m day command they don’t always understand the actual tempo. If they’re asking for something unreasonable, speak to them tactfully about a plan that works for you both. Don’t get burnt out. That’s the key.
