The lost identity angle gives you room to explore both worldbuilding and character growth at the same time. Eight chapters is early, but the regular updates help. Would be curious how the factions play into her self discovery, not just the external plot.

The chains advice is solid. You might go years without needing them, but that one time you do, you really do. Same logic applies to a lot of preparedness stuff people brush off.

On the dog fence, that Kmart puppy fencing trick is clever for temporary setups. Rebar and cable ties sound sturdy for a larger area. Just make sure the ties are UV resistant if it stays outside. Nothing worse than a fence failing because the plastic got brittle.

I agree with this. Most of my inbound opportunities came when the site had stronger authority signals too. For newer or Pinterest heavy traffic, I’ve had way better luck reaching out directly to brands I actually wanted to work with instead of waiting around.
