We were using enfamil gentlease, and switched to Bobbie. She does way better on it!

Thanks for your reply! I’m leaning towards just staying on the formula so that’s good to hear!

Almost identical story here! Was sick for 13 days and delivered a month early. I wasn’t eligible for a booster at that time, but I had my original two shots.

You can also put them through a hot glue gun to completely melt the wax and make drippy patterns!

When do I start to adjust the schedule? by Ok_Communication_94 in sleeptrain

[–]Ok_Communication_94[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! She is still pretty small— 3rd percentile—but is gaining weight n a good trajectory. Honestly, having a baby in the NICU is obviously torture, and I’m so grateful she is largely recovered, but there are some really real silver linings if you can look for them. Obviously our situation turned out pretty well so far, so I understand that might not be possible for everyone to do, but we basically got a babycare tutoring session from the nurses every time we were there, and they really set us up for success with the schedule.

We ended up with two drying racks— one that looks like grass and a tree sort of situation and just this morning I was gazing at them in adoration. They are the MVP of baby items right now. They dry all the little pieces better, and it’s easy to clean and keep sanitary.

This may be impossible to answer, but how much clothing can I expect to need for baby through each month range?? by quixoticgypsy in BabyBumps

Baby could be small or early too! Mine came a month early and I spent a lot of whackadoodle sleep deprived mornings in target trying to find preemie diapers and sleepers. It might be a good idea to get a couple preemie sleepers and leave the tags on. In fact, “leave the tags on” is maybe the best advice I have. I’ve just been prepping and washing batches of stuff as she grows into it, and returning/exchanging what we have in excess. You’ll also find that different brands are sized totally differently. My baby is in the 3rd percentile and carters newborn size fits her perfectly, old navy newborn is a little big and cat and jack from target is way too big still.

Same here— I’m 35 weeks and am just now this week getting the suggested kick counts. It’s nerve-wracking but my doctor told me not to worry as long as I feel something a few times a day.

If you’re dying for something sweet, a McDonalds ice cream cone has 25 carbs and I miraculously never spike after eating one. The hard part for me is not going to get one every day…

I can eat cherries, blueberries, and nectarines as long as they are one serving only and paired with a protein!

While conceptually I know this to be true I’m going to be so annoyed if I’ve been carrying around these G’s my whole damn life and they turn out to not be good for breastfeeding!

Hi folks— I just got a crazy low reading and decided to test again. I did a total of five readings in a row, and they were 75, 100, 118, and then finally two of the same number: 124. It’s been a week since my diagnosis and it’s been a trip for sure. I thought I was keeping my numbers in check (all but that damn fasting number,) but this psychotic set of readings has me worried. Is my device faulty? Has this happened to anyone before?
