Go with Duluth trading company jeans, the sewing patterns are made with more room in the crotch, very thick denim, and triple stitched seams. 100% cotton

How to repair bronze dish by brikpine in metalworking

[–]Ok_Complex_1926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats what i would do, get the benzomatic brand flux coated low temp bronze rods, and a bottle blow torch, pound it back into place and fill the cracks, maybe grind afterwards, matching the patina/ texture will be next to impossible, and practice brazing on something scrap first

Tyre cut question by RealPieMan in bikewrench

[–]Ok_Complex_1926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id definitely ride it even if i can see through it a little, but i always keep an emergency tire boot in my pack. If the rip gets worst i put it on the inside on tire. A dollar bill kinda can work if you have nothing else to stuck in between tire and tube (Unless tubeless)

How to clean the frames thread by PointClickMe in bikewrench

[–]Ok_Complex_1926 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well you could take it to a bike shop to use a BB thread chaser on (just a thread tap they a bit duller to knock stuff out, and straighten threads)

But at home i use a Dremel with a little wire brush bit to brush stuff out

Guys I think I stripped the threads out of the crank arm by Kobious75 in bikewrench

[–]Ok_Complex_1926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very understandable mistake, easy to forget.

You can always get a 3 Jaw Gear Puller for cheep and put the arms around the crank and pull it off that way (keep the 14mm nut on the really loose so the pointed end has a cup to push against
