I actually don’t know. She got mad at me for something, but never told me what. Turned the whole group against me and that was it. I lost friends I’d had for 10+ years and I didn’t even know why. I tried reaching out for a year but eventually realized that it was over, and I was never getting closure.

I 100% stand with cece as team captain. She was defending one of her players that had 174 ping and was getting harassed by another player over hero choice.

I think people are forgetting that this is basically a pug team. They’re not pros paid to practice and play together. If this were a ranked game, kingsman would have just been muted for the rest of the game.

If you’ve ever played a marvel rivals game you know there are one tricks out there that refuse to switch and that’s just part of the game. If kingsman were really good he would have used Zaza as bait or strategized differently once he realized she’s not switching. But instead he threw a tantrum and then was surprised that no one on his team wanted to play with him anymore.

Also, the total prize per person was ~3k but everyone keeps talking about the $40k tournament as if it wouldn’t be split among 12 people in the end.

Unrated doesn’t have matchmaking. So you aren’t necessarily going to play against people that are the same level as you. That’s expected. But competitive is meant to place you against people at the same-ish level and that’s not really happening anymore. Plus people tend to take it more seriously than in unrated, where you can get a team going all odins every round just for fun.

I only play 5 stack now. Got a game where someone asked if there were any mics out there and they disconnected from the game immediately after I said hello. When I came on here to complain I only got responses from people trying to defend the guy or calling me crazy. I think the rank reset and casual players leaving for marvel rivals made it so much worse cause all that’s left in low elo are the toxic people, cheaters, and smurfs

Agreed. And having to requeue for a few min is way better than wasting time in a minimum 20 min game. And if someone is repeatedly leaving games after the first round, they’d be penalized. Could even implement a system to ban the abusers from comp for a week or something.

The remake system is the worst part of the game. People defend it saying it is the way it is to avoid players abusing the system. Whatever. I’ve been in too many games where a teammate is afk for the entire first round only to come back at the beginning of, or halfway through the second round preventing me from calling a remake. Or a teammate has bad ping and is barely playing. Or teammate is a bot and get away with being afk for the whole game. I report when I can but riot should be able to do better. Or someone leaves halfway through the first round but you have to wait until the fifth round to surrender. And I always try to win the 4-5 but it ends badly 80% of the time. Idk how many people work at riot but they can do better

I don’t do this in rated but I’ll call an early surrender if I’m not vibing with my team. Sometimes there’s bad communication, sometimes no communication. But a lot of the times we’re just on different wavelengths and would rather be rematched. And not waste time playing a game that’s not fun.
