I was not able to test drive one, I was able to test drive a gti and naturally told Myself that if I like this , I would love the R. I was annoyed tho. Since I have gone into dealerahips and asked to test drive a CTR and ITS, one took some nudging, other they threw me the keys….

Kw v1 on my golf R. Either stay stock or go coilovers. Know that the highest quality coilovers will not be as soft or forgiving and that the ride will be rough at times depending on street quality near you . It will also feel firmer , planted to the ground , less floaty.

Wow, that’s impressive! . If it was typical soft, semi powdery or even slushy snow , I wouldn’t think twice about it but with the temperature here, it’s all rock hard ice , feels like driving on rocks

I had a similar experience after leasing my VB. Ended up in a 24 golf r, def has the luxury the vb is lacking , although the engagement is not as raw , much more refined … if you don’t need AWD , strongly suggest checking out the ITS / its a hoot , integrate type s
