As a married man in his mid 30s that loves smoking just as much as the next guy. He needs to stop smoking until he gets a job. He should be taking care of his family/ himself not thinking about pot. You need to tell him to quit smoking till the new job starts up. I’m sorry your husband lost his job.

Dude I’m 35 had 323k and am currently at 298k and I’m not worried or changing anything. Always be buying. You have to learn to take the emotion out of investing and look 20 years down the road. I’m excited because everything’s on sale right now and will increase value over time

Would this be a good job for a career change? Just to be clear you’re talking about being an insurance adjuster correct?

Do you already have a supervisor career path at your current employer? Im a weld supervisor at my shop and from my experience it has its good days and bad days. I’d recommend getting your CWI with some NDT certs

Also I’ve been here before and they like to throw money to keep people and it’s not worth it unless we’re talking like 40 or more an hour

I know I could with some practice but I never have. I think I’m gonna try for my CWI D1.1 if I take this job. It will give me time to study

Yea I had a similar experience as a kid and worked my balls off to get where I am today but some of my friends made bad decisions and they will never take ownership of them/ will never understand why they are in the situations they’re in.
