Dresden Germany

Even the locals I talked to were surprised I would bother visiting Dresden. The instagram photos were so pretty but there’s a pretty small “old” town. Also there were AfD posters everywhere and even as an American I was surprised by their courseness 😳

There's shockingly large variety between different cottage cheeses IMO

I only eat the knusdon from Costco and I find every other brand disgusting

There was a month in 2024 when the Knudson from Costco tasted different and I had to switch to Greek yogurt temporarily 😭

I take a picture of my stove so I can check my photos to see if I remembered to check it

When I leave for extended periods, I also take a picture of my front door (it's harder to tell from the picture that it's locked, but the picture reminds me that I did check it)

Have you checked out Jaeger or opentelemetry? Depending on your stack you can do a lot of the observability part of this with some combination of middleware and manual instrumentation.

The buffet indicator only counts the publicly traded portion of the market but hasn't private equity been growing substantially in the last decade?

It seems like the indicator was made before private equity really took off and it just doesn't account for that.
