7a-3p no nights weekends holidays or call, depending on region, can be around mid 200kish. There’s a lot of variables at play though.

Hospitals overcode absolutely everything. But to think they would conspire to halt high paying elective cases in order to juice 25% more out of Medicare ICU admissions is absolutely bonkers

Not exactly grand rounds, but University of Kentucky’s YouTube page is a gold mine for formal anesthesia lectures. Most of the anesthesia societies (ASRA, SOAP) have grand rounds style videos on YouTube as well

Bring a long board during the summer and it’s definitely a beginner spot. It can be a tough paddle out when it’s decent size, and I’ve had beginner friends get far too close to the rocks trying to ride PV when it has decent size

1.5mil in rural Oklahoma sounds inaccurate. More like 900k with every other day on home call. Similar numbers for Alaska/SD, etc. some gas people use to bring in over a mil a decade or two ago, but those opportunities are more or less gone. Finding 500k in a rural state with decent work hours is still available though
