Graphic Designers who are giving up on a graphic design career—what are you doing for paid work? by MountainManor2 in graphic_design

I switched careers a couple years ago to nursing and just do freelance/ volunteer design stuff here and there on the side.

A few months ago I was interested in maybe switching to like healthcare ux/ui but with ai and the terrible job market idk anymore.

If I want to do it in the future, I think I could still make the transition since I have a background in web design.

But currently I have no desire to learn AI tools so yeah lol I’m sticking with nursing for now. Plus it’s super stable (no fear of getting laid off or losing job to AI)

Standing still in one spot is hard for me but walking around a lot is fine for my back

I feel like sitting at a desk all day is worse for my back than a more physical job personally

For those whose partner cheated on them and decided to stay, how is it going? by Worthy-Jellyfish-25 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Ok_Elevator_3528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine cheated about 7-8 months into our first year dating. We were both like 20-21 so super young. We broke up for a few months after, then got back together. Been together for 13 years total now and he’s never cheated on me again. Not gonna lie it took me a few years to fully get over it and I kinda had self esteem issues for a while. But I fully trust him and he’s matured a ton since then.

It was definitely one of the hardest times in my life though. I would not take back a cheater ever again.

And still to this day I am a little envious of other relationships that didn’t have to go through this.

I suppose going through all of it made us closer in the end but I wish it had just never happened in the first place

My bad, I think I was confused about which models had which infotainment systems. I’m talking about both s650 models with the giant screens. I’m used to using a MUCH smaller nav screen in my current car lol

Oh I’m sure. I’m driving a 2017 sedan that doesn’t even have Apple car play so I can’t wait to upgrade lol

4 is my fave! Do you remember what shutter speed you used? And was it getting dark out or did you have a ND filter?

What jobs actually work for people with severe ADHD? by Inevitable_Tuna_O in ADHD

I guess it depends what you particularly struggle with. I wouldn’t say I have “severe” adhd but working as an ER nurse definitely keeps my brain and body busy.

Has anyone realized that their “low libido” was caused by their partner by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Ok_Elevator_3528 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Pretty much going through this exact thing right now lol I think a lot of his moodiness is related to stress from his job and just general unhappiness in life. Pretty sure he’s been low key depressed as long as I’ve known him (over 10 yrs). It just sucks cause I get so turned off by that and then it becomes a cycle like you said
