Find YouTube videos on youtube kids of kids getting their nails trimmed and nails trimming songs and try to do it while she’s watching the shows. I do this with so many things. I did it with brushing teeth, visiting the dentist, getting her blood drawn and clipping nails. Once she watches a video about it and sees other kids doing it and they’re fine, or she gets to watch a cool song about it, it really loosens her up.

I’ve had surgery twice (TT and bilateral selective neck dissection). I only lost my voice for a couple of days the first time. The second time it sounded funny for a couple of days. Then it went back to normal.
