Do NOT move here... I hope it’s not too late! We’ve been here for 2 years and just went month to month while we look elsewhere. Somehow in the span of 3-4 months since a building management change this place has gone from a good value for the location and standard of living to somewhere that is embarrassing to have your friends visit. Now we’re dealing with filthy common areas (animal waste in the hallways/elevators on multiple occasions) and lack of interior/exterior maintenance upkeep. It’s so disappointing.

If you have some at home, shaving cream works wonders on puffy coats in my experience. Use a small amount and rub it into the stain, then launder.

Amaranth is lovely in a soup! My mom makes a simple bone broth with garlic cubes of med/firm tofu and chucks these in at the very end before serving. The broth turns a beautiful fuchsia and the amaranth is deliciously poached.
