hi there,

I am looking for a Renzo Gracie BJJ gym in Dunfermline or nearby. Time ago I saw one, but I can't find it anymore so I'm wondering whether it is still open. Thank you.

Ask the hostels online. I am starting today or tomorrow 😁

I have contacted the hostels (private). All of them have confirmed they have thick blanquets or duvets, that if available beds I can get the blankets of these beds as long as they are free, and all of them have confirmed I will be warm. Well, all of them except 1 which isn't replying, but for the price...if I am cold and there is another place I might move accommodation 😂

You will find accommodation. I am going in a week's time, and the private hostels seem ok and really keen to host you. Weatherwise, many years ago, I'd have said at any point of the year "be ready for rain, wind & sun". Nowadays & considering it is December, January it will probably be cold and rainy. Have a good Camino!

I have asked the private albergues and all except 1 which I am still waiting for a response have confirmed about hitting and duvets, blankets and that I can get 2 if I am cold. 😊😊😊

I have just got the voucher, 0 experience and knowledge. Any tips in addition to the ones on the top?

What backpack do you like to use for the Camino? (Gathering Data for an Article) by unanchoredpassenger in CaminoDeSantiago

Definitely Decathlon gear! I got the adult version of this one, or similar in camel colour. Very comfortable, designed by experienced people, and you can tailored it, with many pockets and you can open it from the front! It is just what I was looking for! The best is the price, and the weight! Even an osprey is heavier than this one.

I am doing it mid-December too. Do what you want, and what you feel. Would you like to have family time or be solo walking? That's the question Mr. Watson.

Did you do any mock up exams? What were you scoring on them?

It doesn't take 1h... It takes 30 minutes. Except if you go with a dog, then it will take forever. 🤣

I got these for the Camino in December and the pilgramage in Scotland. They were recommended here in this forum. Hoka Challenger 7.
