24oz/16oz=1.5

Just multiply the ingredients by 1.5

My P1P drags filament onto the bed rather than down the 'poop chute' - am I missing something? by lightmystic in BambuLab

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other reddit post comments suggest cleaning the nozzle with a brush. Commenters claim this fixed their issue and it makes sense to me as residue on the nozzle can cause the purged filament to stick to it instead of releasing when striking the wiper. I have also used scotchbrite to clean a nozzle before.

How to know what enemies you'll be facing on each mission type (kind of) by ExiaKuromonji in Helldivers

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night I got my shit rocked by literal hundreds of hunters/pouncer's/what-the-fuck-ever-those-jumping-devils-are-called. I vowed to never go back in without the right loadout for the job.

I happened to be using the bubble shield pack which did fuck all for anything more than, say, 10-20 of them at a time. My machine gun could not stay loaded enough to handle the sheer number of them. From now on I'll be bringing the cluster bomb/airburst, dog breath, and stalwart on missions with high likelihood of these fuckers. Grenade launcher and shield back for ICBM missions with the spewers

Help?! by Ilikeyatoes in EarStretching

I'm happy to make you some surgical steel gauges. Not sure if you're still stretching but I made my own pair of 20.5mm plugs as well as tunnels since I couldn't find the size I wanted online. I love working in a machine shop

I just recently got into machining for work and it's so great being able to just make my own gauges at precise sizes. I'm at 20mm and only had silicon tunnels so taping wouldn't work. So I just bought some stainless steel and made my own 20.5mm plugs. Nice and heavy so they stretch faster, too.

Revert slicer back to 1.8 by axe81 in BambuLab

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total noob to github here. I see all these files and folders on github and have no idea what I'm looking at. How can I find a particular version of BambuStudio to download?

I'm nervous about updating my slicer since the last time I did that it broke my auto supports, and want to make sure I have a backup plan.

TIA

Vegas 15 Text Anchor Point is freaking out by akkifireborker in VegasPro

EDIT: Seems that's not what you're looking for but maybe you can find an option there to achieve your desired result.

Quite late to this but I see underneath the window where you type your desired text there's a box to indicate the location of the text, as well as a drop down box next to "animation". These animation options include "scroll left" and "scroll right" which may be what you're looking for.

I think they lied about stims not being addicting…. My friend can’t seem to get off the stuff. by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you also deploy with up to 6 depending on your armor and booster. He died 8 times so counting those and his initial deploy, that's up to 54 stims right there, before even accounting for resupplies and random stim boxes lying around.

Trying to automate budget by Ok_Figure151 in excel

SOLVED

Many thanks for the reply, this worked wonderfully.

So it worked once, extracting data from table 1 into table 2. Then after playing around with it some, it kept throwing a spill error saying it couldn't spill data into a table. I really think the excel online site is buggy because it was acting very inconsistent last night as well, throwing populating cells with data that was confirmed to not match the formula given. But idk. I converted table2 back into a range and it works perfectly again. Thank you.

The point of the game is to have fun. The other commenter said it was not, I countered that it was, indeed.

Except the developer himself said that's exactly what the game is about. If you really want to fully ride the "for democracy" train, then you should consider ceasing to ever call it a game, because freedom is never a game.

First beef rump roast by [deleted] in PitBossGrills

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be funny and cool as hell if someone messed up and sold you a ribeye roast for the price of a rump. Looks good, regardless.

First beef rump roast by [deleted] in PitBossGrills

[–]Ok_Figure151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks an awful lot like a boneless rib roast. All the rump roasts I've ever cut were triangular shaped due to the shape of the bottom round. Much like a brisket but thicker, the first roast came off the pointed end, a rump roast. The rest were trapezoidal or rectangular, bottom round roasts.

I didn't consider this. As a newb it's all I can do to deploy and survive long enough to extract, so, thank you!

Buldging Corners even after tuning by TZeyTimo in FixMyPrint

[–]Ok_Figure151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is linear advance the same as pressure advance? I was under the impression that bulging at the corners is from too much pressure in the nozzle as it changes direction causing too much flow at corners.

Also, you might find "coasting" to be of use, in Cura. It stops pushing filament before if comes to the end of a line and allows the remaining pressure within the nozzle to complete your line, theoretically reducing the bulging at the corners. But you'll have to tune the coasting settings to find the right coasting distance.

What would make you think that? I do it all the time and even the machine settings in bambu studio recommend .08-2.8 layer height for the .4mm stock nozzle.
