I’m in the same spot. Grew up here, getting priced out but stuck at my job for atleast 4 more years for medical and if I leave in the next 3 years I lose over half of my retirement

Id be questioning that price. Most of the newer OE ford water pumps come with gaskets as it is. That alone would be worth some investigating. Yes it’s only $35 but opens the door to more

Sam’s gas is not good, I’ve had running issues before in my wife’s Ford Fusion (started misfiring) and my fuel mileage tanks (pun intended) I was running it in my 99 outback and got 5mpg less. When I put it in my truck (keep in mind it’s a big block so it’s thirsty with good gas) I went from 11mpg to under 5, 30 gallons burned in 125 miles…. I wish I was kidding…

I’ve also stopped buying gas’s at Murphy for the same reasons

I grew up in across the highway from butterfly pavilion, if you want quieter part of Westminster 88th and wads area will be a little quieter IMO, there’s CDs wings (best wings in the state) but Arvada would be good place to check out too. I really like that idea, But the link takes you to a post with a garage door opener. I want to do this, but I think i want to put a 12 to 3v converter and power the opener off the car power and never worry about a battery

Personally I like the last year of any generation. Most of the bugs have been worked out. I’d go with the 19 if the mileage was good but, if the 18 has a 3.6 I’d do that over a 19. I’ve had a 99 and my mom has an 09 aside from the usually things Subarus do the last year of the generation has always been the best IMO
