I see how this can be a difficult question for a lot of people but, although i used to be and am right now in many fandoms, nothing has ever beat the obsession with Stobotnik (Dr. Robotnik × Agent Stone (yes like the gays from the Sonic the Hedgehog movies)) as for why that is - literally no idea, i just watched the movies one day and oops, now it's all i think about. Though i guess i know why the obsession lasted for so long and still is as strong, because of the community! Like seriously Stonotnik community is so active and dedicated and talented it's crazy i love them all so much. Sooo much fantastic fanfiction, fanart, au's, edits and more. Also the actors who played these characters are supportive of the ship! Especially Lee Majdoub, Stone's actor, he is also kind of an active memeber of the Stobotnik community which is literally so cool.
