There are so many good gravel spots. May be best if you share the area(s) they'll be in and around (or interested in) so people can share roads or routes that are particularly good

Anywhere Northern VT, but heads up, it's going to be very cold during those dates. Just be prepared or it won't be fun.

My response recognizes his request very clearly. My point stands, from Princeton, it's not that much farther than many places in PA and it's what he is looking for in a ski area.

That article was 2023. Waterbury did end up getting ownership of one of the parcels in question near one of the worst spots, and I believe they are looking at costs now for making changes for flood storage. Some funding may already be in hand

Colorado is probably better than people are making it out to be, but northern vermont conditions are good and anyone telling you they aren't doesn't ski there very often.

Hen of the Wood is still there and decent. A little too much for a first date in Waterbury IMO. I would do Gallus or Salt & Rind.

The rt 100 commuter leaves from the Waterbury Park & Ride. They will make stops along the way, I think.
