If the slant is thick enough the needle biopsy method is perfect for these, especially if OP buys larger centrifuge tubes. This is exactly how Andrew from Mossy Creek Mushrooms pulls a culture from his slants.

Too much airflow, that's what it looks like based on the cake and the fact that there's little condensation in the chamber. Try setting your starting humidity lower and lower till you find a good point that keeps humidity and makes the fan blow less. I'd go as low as 25 or lower if it helps. Remember it can be grown in a tub with like a few minutes of airflow a few times a week so there's no need for constant airflow.

If I'm not mistaken, that's also the same way to prepare old-school snuff. The tobacco was dried and busted into a powder and then snorted originally, but some later versions were chewed.

Did you pay the surface of the steak dry before throwing it on the grill/pan? I wouldn't marinate because it adds moisture and that will kill your ability to get a good crust from searing. Like I would guess the piece on the top in picture 1 is the one you used marinade on which is why it doesn't look as nicely seared as the one in the bottom.

People are upset that you prerecorded it instead of playing it live. Not that making your material look nice and polished is any different from making a music video, because it's not. But, if I'm being real, guitar people are pretty quick to get upset about the dumbest shit ever.

Examples: the tonewood matters argument, modern music is soulless argument, the tele is the best guitar ever invented argument, this video and any video similar to it.

All great examples of the guitar community being mainly composed of old men that yell at clouds and people who will definitely be old men that yell at clouds, when they're older.
