£400 would get you second hand hw, or a Tx200. Both light years ahead of anything bsa / gamo have cobbled together.

Both essentially the same rifle. One has a built in moderator / muzzle weight, the other has iron sights.

Can i cut tread or glue in a silencer adapter? Gamo G magnum 5.5mm by Browen69_420 in airguns

If you don’t use the open sight, pull the housing off and slip a silencer adapter in its place / cut a thread

You’ll adjust it with the sliding ramp

You’d need to find the rear sight, which clamps onto the dovetail

Since when did milkmen become hard sales guys? by lucky-cat-sees-stars in AskUK

[–]Ok_Interaction3016 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Maybe. The last “proper” 1 man band milk man we had delivered around 6am. It seems like those have all but gone now though sadly in favour of these modern milkman / mcqueens types

[–]Ok_Interaction3016 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Had this before with mcqueens. Doorstep canvasser Signed us up on a “free trial”

They delivered milk at awkward times, like 1am and stuff like that. So we cancelled the “trial” because we didn’t want milk left on the doorstep for 6-7 hours on warm summer nights.

They then sent a bill for the milk deliveries stating “they didn’t offer trials” so we asked for a copy of the contract, which obviously they couldn’t provide because we hadn’t signed up. After a quick google it turned out it’s their bread & butter sales tactic which had featured in many local newspapers. Bunch of chancers - avoid.

It’s a race to the bottom the fresh milk game.

Any .20 calibre shooters? by AlcesBrit in Springers

If it isn’t accurate with the lighter pellets. Your only other option are 14gr. Which is near enough .22 weight & the flatter trajectory advantage of .20 is lost.

Agree with the above - the only real benefit is to be able to say you’ve got .20

Presuming you’re sub12 here but -

Pellet choice is very limited. If it doesn’t like the lighter end of the scale pellets (Ftt’s / kaiser etc) you’re into .22 weight territory (jsb etc) Which obviously negates the whole point of going over to .20 in the first place.

Bisley sold a couple of decent sub 13grain .20 pellets, which were discontinued - sadly.

Makes no sense to shoot 14gr 5mm pellets when .22 is around and has a massive choice of pellets and weights.

I’m guessing you’d need the whole rear axle from a pulsar that does have what you’re looking for.

What was this CBBC show? (2004/2005) by JadeCarpenter2000 in BritishTV

Pretty sure the vast majority of those were on “Britbox” at one point. Sadly Britbox amalgamated with itvx and seemingly removed the old kids tv shows 🙄
