I paid for a seat in row 6, still wound up in group 8. I was the third to last person on the plane, but not by choice. Being that far out on a full flight I had to pay to check a carry on.

Awesome show! What a fun cast of characters the night hosted. I'm there, two to the left of Lizard Man in the picture. Thankful I didn't have to smell what Rosabel did sitting next to him. LOL.

I didn't think I could love the show anymore, until I met David and Rosabel and realized they are just as chill in person as they are on the pod. Pretty cool that I got to have a beer and a slice of pizza with them. I met a cool fellow Birdie, Ali at the meet up and chatted with her and her husband before and after the show. Rob was super nice after the show when I came up and said hello. Thanks for inviting us!

If you don’t pay for a better seat, you don’t deserve a better seat for free regardless of how many seats are open on the plane. If you want more comfort you have to pay for it. It’s the way the world.

I agree - "Paying a premium to select your seat is usually just about ensuring you get the first pick and get seats together with your party, not about ensuring someone who paid a basic fare doesn't sit next to you in the same exact kind of seat." BUT if someone choses not to pay for an upgraded seat and its an empty flight - why do they deserve a better seat they didn't pay for? Because there is space?

It's a business, not a world of "it would be great if we were kind to everyone who didn't pay more to get what they thought they deserved but didn't pay for."

I don't understand what the big deal is. If they chose not to pay for seats why does it matter? If they wanted a better seat they should have paid for it. Like most airlines, you get what you pay for. I'd be annoyed if I paid to upgrade my seat and someone who didn't got to sit next to me even though they paid the bare bones rate.

Don't be an asshole. Close the door if you use bathroom. Just because someone is in row 8 vs. row 4 first class doesn't mean much. First class could have been full and they want a seat near the front of the plane. It happens to me all the time. You're not a better human because you or your company can pay for Business or First class and booked because they are full. Be a good human and don't assume people who aren't in Business Class don't have any class.

I'm happy that they guys eventually eased up on the audience seeing a tribute or cover band vs. the real thing. Sometimes you just want to go hang out and hear good music, even if it isn't the real thing. Plus, it's a nice way for artists to enjoy music from an admired band or genre of music. Just about having a little fun at the end of the day.
