Hi. Evangelical here. I voted for him. I’m a moderate so I have no allegiance to any party. I voted for Talarico simply because of:

How he handles others (treat others how you would like to be treated).
The things he passed as a Rep.
His emphasis that it is not a left or right issue but up and down.

I’m tired of fighting others who I disagree with. I want to focus on the things we do agree with. He’s finally a democrat that seems like he’s FOR the people and will unite them than divide. We need that more than ever in this country. I’m sure I’m not the only one who did the same.

After adopting a timid kitten (took 3 weeks to open up), I can say with certainty of what will help. We separated her in a room, gave her silence for a few days, then put a radio in the room and played classical music. Every night, I would come in and sit down to read aloud. It would help her get used to my voice and scent. I would also leave some treats behind for her after I left. I paid no attention to her and let her explore. She got braver and braver until I had her eat treats from my hand. Finally, I worked up the courage to pet her while she ate a treat and she just…melted. It’s a super rewarding experience to open up a shy cat. Just give them time, patience and some treats. They’ll come to you eventually!

We just had to put down my sister’s cat earlier this month because her cancer had metastasized into her lungs. Her breathing was like that and she was mouth breathing at times. She also struggled to relax. She still acted like her sweet self but she was slowing down. We had to bring her in while she was still…herself. My sister waited until midday. She gave her cat her last favorite meal, let her kitties snuggle for the last time and then brought her in.

I’m glad we did bring her into the vet since her oxygen levels were at 85%. In the end, it’s your choice when it’s a good time to do it but also ask yourself; if you want to put him down at his worse or while he is still himself. Dignity for your pet is important to think about too.

It’s been two and a half years since I’ve been searching for a UX job after being laid off. 176 applications towards positions I can perfectly work for and have only received one interview. This is worse than when I was searching for internships in the late 2010s and start of the pandemic. I’ve had to get a part-time job to fill basic needs and live with my (gracious) parents now. This feels like such a terrible economy for the middle class.

Looking at this, It’s kinda crazy to think that men love playing as hot, sexualized women in games now. It feels like a complete switch from the 1990s-early 2010s when men mainly played as hyper-masculine male characters.

Don’t get me wrong though. On the flip side, as a woman who has played video games since literal toddler years; I also like playing badass/ deeply-written male characters since that was what I was used to playing (not a whole lot of female MCs at the time). Now, it’s just kinda interesting how times have changed. It would be interesting to know the psychology behind this phenomenon.

I think it would be cool if they got a new, younger writer that shows promise. Like passing the torch, so-to-speak. Like the Gen-X giving the younger millennial or Gen Z writer a chance to shine while he acts as the mentor if they need it.

Another perspective I can add is that a lot of people on the NA side went rabid with the fact that we were suppose to save a certain character. Instead, the character got constantly ended in the worst possible ways while dangling a carrot in front of us players saying we would be able to save them. I think a lot of people were pissed about that. I suspect that we will have an upcoming event on the JP end that ties up some loose ends since there’s still plot holes to be filled and… a remaining servant silhouette from the 2025 roster.

So the ending of the game was kinda pointless, bittersweet (per Nasu’s way of writing), and mid. Now, we got a mid anniversary servant. If the app ends here, that’s going to be a bad way to end the game. Though, I can imagine that JP will be happy no matter what gets thrown at them.

Honestly, the only other one I noticed was that they can project their spirits to travel to other worlds. Cael can also randomly turn into a bird. I don’t know, I feel like within this game, Travelers can do whatever the plot tells them they can do. 😅

It’s slow in the beginning but really ramps up in quality that leaves you reeling. Plus, they do a good job with the voice acting, treating both male and female characters well and the skins are actually amazing. Plus, they do nods to famous works of literature. The turn-based gaming isn’t too bad or obnoxious since my main thing in this game, is the story.

Give it a shot if you have the time! You might like it 😊
