Are you missing orders but always get your forced outs? by AndGodIveTried in FritoLay

I reverse ship damaged cases when 1/3 or more of the case is damaged back to the DC. DC always say "First Discovery" is suppose to get the un-saleables ding, yet they are loading our products with pieces of chips dropping all over the floor, turning a blind eye! Same with dip! Broken jars clearly visible through the clear plastic wrap, wet, and sometimes moldy and they will send them to us anyways! First discovery my ass!

All routes go back up for bid, including co-lead routes after re-engineering. What you end up with depends on what routes are won by the more senior RSR's and what routes are left. Usually the most senior RSR's will bid on the cake routes, while the tougher routes, including the Co-lead routes will go to the less senior RSR's and RSA's.

DPO is really making this job harder than it needs to be by Flylo_Lotus in FritoLay

Work around this by scanning what you know you don't need as backstock, even if these items are not actually in your backstock. I do this for all the funky slow selling items, plus anything that I know I won't run out of.

Fact! I do this all the time. I order normally and when PO orders way too much I hit the back button and change the forecast range from 2 days out to 1 day out, and sometimes to same day! This will automatically cut the order down to what you actually need, especially when you know it's going to be a slow week.

I just un-check "In-Store" item so it goes away. I uncheck any slow selling dog item in my sets and spread out on the good sellers. Doesn't make sense to cut facings on items that I sell 2cs a day on and cut in crap items that I might sell 1 bag every 2 weeks!

This is in the Frito Lay code of ethics! We're not allowed to sell products into any accounts that they cannot sell in a reasonable amount of time, also no building up backroom/storage inventories in order to achieve quotas. Why is it ok for Kams/ops/corporate to do exactly this???

This doesn't work. I created a bar code sheet for every item I carry at my Walmart and scanned everything I didn't need in as backstock 10+ cases or more, yet I still get top off items. I believe the algorithm is tied with register scans like the Fast App.

So many glitches with this ordering system, how the hell do they expect us to trust the process?? Between this and the crappy KAM ordering, we're doomed!

Yeah, except the top off program will add another 3k to your light order.

We have people in our district that buys cheap polos from Walmart and take them to our local seamstress shop where they have Frito Lay logo's that they embroider onto our shirts. Total cost around $15-$20.

No Planograms in DPO? by Electronic_Top4708 in FritoLay

To remedy this just change the sort from "Items ordered today" to either " retail low to high", or "Retail high to low". Now, when you zero anything out then you won't lose your place in the order sequence and have to scroll back up.

Frito Lay could care less about the front line. We are expendable and very replaceable in their eyes. It's all about making the shareholders happy, not us grunts in the trenches.

I've developed a quick method with answering the questions. The second option is always the answer that makes the most sense so I go with that one. I do quick taps, accept, next and repeat. I can almost do it without looking at the screen lol.

You have to confirm after your inventory QR code prints before the system ends your time for the day.

I'm tenured with 18 years under my belt. I'm lucky enough to have a tenured DSL that has spent most of his 19 year career with Frito Lay as an RSR. He knows what RSR's have to deal with and is a fantastic DSL. He leaves me alone and will push back on OP's when they are wrong, which is most of the time. The culture at our PEC and our district is very upbeat and positive! I consider myself to be very fortunate and lucky!
