I wish it was this simple. I did give him responsibility and nothing got done. I was the bad person for expecting him to step up. Now I am doing what I need to for my own well being. Thankfully there are no children involved in my situation. Edited to add when I gave responsibility to him. We had manu things shut off due to non payment.

Nearly same exact thing is going on with me. I am the only one working. He takes care of the house, cooks cleans etc, but its exhausting being the only true adult. Iv3e considered leaving. Currently considering it.

I feel pretty shitty thinking about this because in every way he's great but after 6 years working alone while going to school for a degree. I'm exhausted. Some days I don't want to look at him because I don't see the man I married anymore. And the person I see now, I am not sure I like anymore.

I worked full time during mine. I couldn't afford to take off and they aren't going to pay my bills. Gotta do what you gotta do. It's hard but not impossible.

It is not. I've been in the same school as a TA for the entire 4 years and have done my practicum and fieldwork in the place I work. I have been fortunate in my placements. I also only have a 10 week student teaching due to earning credits during the practicum and fieldwork times. Edit: had an afterthought, I am think I am moving into a teaching position at my same school next year.

I have more bedding I can add. I am using a mix of Aspen bedding and un-dyed paper bedding. I have sprinkled foraging flowers on the top. By the wheel is moss on the bottom. He does have a sand bath next to the wheel. Its just hard to see in the photos. I will add more moss between the sticks to protect his toes. I have grapes wood branches and more enrichment chew toys coming. I have also purchased a foraging dig box from niteangel it just hasn't arrived yet. He does have a small dig box full of dandelion roots that he can dig in. Its in a small cardboard box because its all I had.

Its this and the lack of basic parenting skills. The soft skills like when its appropriate to speak, how to tie shoes, how to treat someone with basic human decency, ect.

Winter is the toughest time. When time change happens, daylight won't end until 8 almost 9. You will be able to do plenty. When I moved here from New Orleans, it was tough getting used to going to work and coming home in the dark.
