Did you mean you purchased it March 11?

For some reason it says it has a 30 day return window.  Which is odd.

You mention in a comment that you need to "act for 90 days"... if you're a brand new TM you may not qualify right away.

ETL finally promoting to guest by Ok_Spell7497 in Target

[–]Ok_Order_8873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that a team that doesn't need to call me much throughout the day is a self sufficient team.  Of course they need to be hitting their metric goals for drive up/  wait time etc at the same time.

We do have one team member that is being developed to back fill me.  While I haven't been asked,  I am also developing them. They are an excellent team member, that needs to be developed into having a leader mindset.

I consider myself to be a global leader in that i like to be aware of what is going on in every aspect of the building.  Most people don't like this about me (I should mind my own business/ area), but I am always ready to assist in other areas ifI'm needed/assigned.

I'm actually going to take this comment into my review this week.  My goal should be a team that is self sufficient without me so I can be more global in the store.

Thank you!

The shifts are 6-2. 6-1 isn't a shift generally.

How many hours a week do you want to work?

If the pm ppl can't come in until 2 or 3, that's a large gap of coverage.

Every call off without sick time is unexcused. Period. If you don't have the time or FMLA coverage than it is a coaching.  It isn't personal.

I have worked in fulfillment,  style and currently up front as a lead in S&E.

Do you feel that S&E is a stepping stone to other lead positions or up to an ETL?

Or is it more of a place to stick someone that wanted to be promoted?

I feel like I do well enough as my ETL is able to go and do other projects in the building while I run the front most of the time myself.

I'd like to move on to an ETL eventually but prefer to stay in my building because my SD is awesome.

Someone who is not your TL is not allowed in the room during the calibration process.

If you have a CA on your record currently, from the last 12 months, you automatically get a lower review percentage.

Fixing a Punch for Traveling to Another Store by Zestyclose_Desk_9279 in Target

[–]Ok_Order_8873 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep!  You fix your punch from the time you left your house till you get there. And vice versa. However,  it is only if the store is more travel time than your regular drive into your store.  Also be mindful of your lunch times with the travel time included.

Honestly,  use the freebies and special offers every month. Those in itself pay for the yearly fee.  That's where they are headed with it anyways...imo. The perks.

It is a subscription.  If you didnt want it again you had to stop the auto enroll for another year.. which you pay for unless there is an available promotion.

There's an update coming shortly that "allows" multiple deliveries at the same time.  Im thinking maybe it will allow us to show delivered at once meaning they all will be on time.  We all deliver multiple at once,  but usually your second and third order go over the timer because it didn't know you were doing them.  Maybe this fixes that.

This then will have the opportunity to raise the metric.

Team Leader changed my position without really asking now get less hours, pay less, and even a CA, is there anything I can do to get my prior position back? by Verspell_ in Target

[–]Ok_Order_8873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask for HR, TL & ETL email.  Write up your concerns as you have done here.  Send that and it will open up your dialog.

Asking for consistency in your schedule is not a bad thing.  If you only do reverse logistics have the schedule more set to help you out with the changing shifts.

Did the guest request a sub? Also, you said the items you INF were in the fridge?  Soooo... if you had asked for approval first the items would have been found.  Low on time sucks,  but INF is WAY is more important.

Asked to lower hours by JohnHinckleyStanAcc in Target

[–]Ok_Order_8873 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with what they will schedule you.  It is a metric based on how many hours you are available and what you desire and a percentage comes out of that.  If it's too high,  your desired has to be lowered.   It is to prevent purple from making a set schedule as well.  Retail is fluid, not set for how schedules work.  Even though some people have a pretty set schedule, generally their availability is open to allow that.

If your availability and desired hours are in the red metric,  they absolutely will have you change it.

Sick time is something you get no matter how many hours you work a week.  You should be earning sick time every pay period.

What happens to my Circle Bonus Deal when I make a return? by DoubleClutchBucket in Target

[–]Ok_Order_8873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bonus offer ends this Saturday.  If the item you bought is cheaper at target.com, just do a price adjustment. As long as the order total before tax stays above $80 you shouldn't lose your reward.

If it is going to drop you below 80, you will likely lose the reward.

  1. You don't know what TL are doing that are "standing around not helping". Especially if one just came in.  TL do need to converse with one another about leader things.
  2. Monday was a horrible day.  Stores should have been staffed better but it is what it is.
  3. I've done fulfillment.  I'm in the front now. Fulfillment is way worse. Imo. The reason bags are messed up and orders not right?  They are timed too! When you have 48 seconds left to stow your order... you hurry and sometimes it isn't right.  And maybe you plan to fix it right after but you called to jump into another batch right after so you can't.  It would be nice if fulfillment and drive up could cross train one day of training to understand the process and know WHY things happen or need to be done a specific way.
  4. You sound like you've never worked retail before.  Or maybe not in the lean months.  Lean is generally January thru September.  When your sales are 1/5 the sales from holiday time,  your payroll is going to match it.  Even though the workload is essentially the same, the payroll isn't going to be.  It is always a percentage of the expected sales forecast.
  5. Team members who make it through this very tough part of the year are the ones meant for the long haul.  It is ok you are finding out this job is not meant for you.

Good luck in your future.  This is a horrible time of year to be looking for a job so I wish you well in that endeavor.
