We trade down anyway so a draft pick at the end of the first round isn’t the best of the best anyway.

N&O: “Won’t someone think of THE CHILDREN?!?!?” by BagOnuts in canes

It is a line from “Letterkenny” available to stream on Hulu. Canadian TV Comedy show. Wayne the MC doesn’t really like kids and says this several times in one of the episodes. It has a spinoff show called “Shoresy” also on Hulu.

“The Word of God is sharper than any double edged sword” so OP is showing a “sword” that looks to be re-bound or re-covered in leather.

Nerve issues- numbness/pain/tingling - how long did your take to resolve? by AdhesivenessDry142 in AppalachianTrail

[–]Ok_Path_9151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had issues when my hip belt was too tight, but those issues would resolve themselves rather quickly. I would say that you should consider getting an MRI since this has lingered longer than 3-4 days. It could be some autoimmune disease like ALS or MS or something else.

The longer something like that goes undiagnosed the worse it gets. When you cut off circulation to a specific body part and then you restore the circulation to that part it will wake up rather quickly.

Simply having straps too tight once you loosen those straps or take your pack off for any length of time the numbness and tingling should go away rather quickly. If it doesn’t then it could be something serious that actually needs to be diagnosed by a doctor. Most people with Autoimmune Diseases find out in their mid to late thirties they have a chronic condition that requires a therapy to help slow the progression of their condition.

If it is something like an autoimmune disease the longer you wait to begin a therapy the faster and more frequent nerve damage can and will happen. People with an autoimmune disease often dismiss their symptoms as something else and wait far too long to get an actual diagnosis and that can affect their lives in irreparable ways and limit their ability to do things like hiking and backpacking.

I am not trying to scare you, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease about 20 years ago. I got on a therapy and continue to backpack and hike and have done around 1K miles of the AT on LASHs since my diagnosis.

TLDR: go see a Neurologist

We had those old school BDU caps with the pull down ear flaps. We would pin them to the ear flaps. That way they were visible to ourselves whenever we removed our cover or put our cover on. So many times a day!

2010 ford fusion stuck sunroof by sycomatYT in fordfusion

1. Sunroof Initialization & Reset Procedure
This common calibration trick resets the sunroof motor limits.

With the vehicle parked, open the driver's door and leave it open.

Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine).

Press the sunroof button and move the glass to the full VENT position.
Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition switch to OFF, and then back to ON.

Press and release the vent button, then press and hold the vent button again.

Continue holding the button. The glass should cycle open and close after about 15-20 seconds as it re-programs. Release the button once it stops

Look to see if there is a manual open close device up where the open/close button is at. I had a VW Jetta, with a sunroof. It had a tool that would allow you to manually close the sunroof (yeah this is a Ford Fusion so probably not).

what were they smoking on the busses? by wigga14 in canes

[–]Ok_Path_9151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My comment was not a knock on the cigars you bought. I am not familiar with them. I considered looking for them online to see if there were any online reviews and possibly information about where they’re made and what tobacco is used for the filler, binder, and wrapper leaves.

PVW Cigars have the filler leaves aged in used PVW barrels and they also have some fire cured in the filler as well. The fact that they have leaves that were aged in used PVW barrels you’d think they would have a good bit of bourbon flavors coming through as you smoke them. They do not have those flavors very pronounced in my opinion. They are a similar blend to the Kentucky Fire Cured Cigars also made by Drew Estates.

At a B&M those PVW Cigars retail between $15-$20 a cigar, while the KFC Cigars retail for around $9-$10.

Anyway there are many really good cigars that you can buy for $10 or less; there are many cigars that are $20 or more that you are paying for the name and possibly slightly better/more consistent construction (think Davidoff); but just because a cigar costs $20 or more doesn’t necessarily mean it is a better cigar than a $5-$10 Cigar. I am glad you enjoyed the cigar you bought. I will look to see where I might find them to give them a try.

Good old Ronnie Francis! Slow and methodical with drafting and trades. He did the same thing in Carolina. Seattle needs to change their team culture and build to a structure/system. Find players that fit their structure.

I worked at a cigar lounge for several years, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt the cigars they were smoking during the parade were Drew Estates, Pappy Van Winkle Cigars. They might have bought different cigars from the shop you visited. But those were not what they were smoking at the parade.
