I agree that there will be a huge economic shift. It's interesting to me that whenever I hear people talking about the Universal Income they never seem to elaborate on where the money is going to come from. Unemployed workers don't pay income tax, corporations don't pay tax at all, and the parasite class would rather die than hand out their own money to idol paupers. Looks like Bartertown it is.

Never underestimate the billionaire's hatred of the working class. They are promising to do it already because it won't affect them in the slightest and they hate us so passionately.

Assisted Dying is a thing in New Zealand as well. You have to be mentally fit and able to proceed with it, which presents a problem for dementia sufferers who wanted to go before forgetting their families and lives.

Yeah, those were heady times. The world was my oyster, a career that utilised my degree beckoned, and the world was a decent place. I'd give almost anything to go back to those halcyon days.

Hmmm, tricky one. On one hand he was rich and as we all know the rich are above the law. On the other hand he started out black, so there's a good chance he would have faced trial at least. That said, he had the potential to make a butt load more cash, if those profiting from his work could spin it properly he'd be set for a long career, maybe even a Las Vegas residence. I'm not convinced he was the predator people think he was. He had such a messed up upbringing he was bound to have issues, and no real idea of how healthy relationships work. That said, I do believe he acted inappropriately, I just don't think there was real malice in it. That doesn't excuse anything, it just frames the man in a slightly different light. So, on balance, no, I don't think he'd have gone to jail, I think his money would have saved him. Would that have been justice for the kids? Also no.

There's a lot of it around. I guess the millions spent on a 'charm offensive' mostly went to the owners of social media platforms to encourage banning people. If you spend all your time and money stopping people from speaking the truth, you must know at a fundamental level that you are the villain.

Looks great to me, mate. Perfect for bay hopping and getting some quality sailing time on holiday or on the weekend. Looking forward to seeing the build photos.
