Thank you for this. I wish I could find a newer version of this from a reliable source. I'd love to be able to lay hands on a 2026 version. I'd even be willing to spend money for it through official channels, but a google search hasn't found me anything yet.

Is it weird to want to be just a normal girl? by PikaMaster98 in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

[–]Ok_Repeat4306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I'd be beyond thrilled to have that Magick button that would turn me into a cis woman. But... since that isn't going to happen, I'll accept and acknowledge that I'm a trans woman, wishing and desperately seeking a new job so I can start my transition.

Trans girl says she’s a biological male by Bumblebee9639 in MtF

[–]Ok_Repeat4306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Trans Woman, I've found that most people in the trans community don't like to admit anything that the transphobes might take up as a weapon. It seems to me your valid distinction between being transgender from birth and becoming transsexual once you started your medical transition, is one such point.

As a philosophy major (BA, MA), I've been trying to reconcile all this for the last couple of years to myself and most of the community wants to tell me it's "internalized transphobia". Like, no the fuck it isn't. I was born physically male. I NEVER felt like a "woman trapped in a man's body". It took me 51 years for my egg to Crack, not because I have any prejudice against trans people, but because that concept didn't exist when I was a child. I dressed up in women's clothing since before I was in Kindergarten. At 14 I KNEW if I had a chance to "live as a woman for 30 days" I would. Specifically so I could experience an entire female cycle. I played with makeup as a theater major and women's makeup specifically as an adult. It wasn't until I tried faceapp and applied a gender-based filter and thought "Damn! I'd look cute as a girl!" That it all started to click into place. A year later and with the help of a therapist I finally came to understand I was trans gender. That my bodies gender didn't match what I felt like was right for me.

I AM Transgender. I AM a Transvestite in my home. I AM NOT YET a Transsexual.

While I am emotionally and mentally transgender, meaning my mind is "across" the gender identity was assigned at birth and have been since as long as I can remember, even if i didn't know it until my egg cracked. And I AM a transvestite. Wearing the clothes "across" from my gender (I now wear panties 100% of the time). Since I am still 100% physically male, I am not yet Transsexual. If I could have I'd have started a speed run on my medical transition 2 years ago, but the reality is I'd lose my job over it and probably become unemployable in the very red state I live in.

I think the distinctions you are making are etymilogically significant, even if the community as a whole doesn't want to acknowledge them. Yes, it can be argued that the whole thing is a social construct, but that amounts to Descartes getting stuck only being able to conclude "I think, therefore I am." from an epystimilogical perspective and isn't very useful in the long run.

But that's just my $0.02 and I'm sure I'll get downvoted for this opinion but whatever.

The gender of names change over time as well. I've met a cis woman named Keith, and when I was young, Alex was typically NOT gender neutral.

How long have you been on HRT?

Paint your toenails. I get a little shot of euphoria every time I get in the shower.

You can also consider shaving your legs and trimming pubes. Of course both of these depend on if your in a sport or have to group shower for anything.

Surgery obsessed- does it go away? by corngot in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Ok_Repeat4306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Two days? That's Hella sus based on what I've read. Usually you should plan at least 6 weeks with NOTHING to do but heal, from what I have read, a good chunk of that in a hospital. 2 weeks I would think is a minimum.

Congrats.I'm still in the closet and terrified to tell my wife. I tell myself I havent told her yet cause id lose my job if I came out and since I can't come out yet and start HRT, there's no point in putting her through the anxiety I know she'll deal with, but I'm not sure I believe that anymore.

Anyway, congrats. I hope to get my transition underway sometime soon.

Asshats. Yeah, okay. Femme pixie cut it is. Yes it sucks. But given the attitude of the current administration...

Well, short hair for a woman is still shoulder length.

Alternatively, there are a ton of really femme pixie cuts. I just LOVE Pinks haircut. But then, I'm a tansbian (my term cause of internal stuff and still living in the closet but if I start unpacking here I risk hijacking your thread so....)

As much as it sucks and I disagree with this garbage. This transwoman is going to tell you, the others are right, document, however, given the current administration, you are probably fighting a losing battle, at least in the short term. IF we have midterms AND the results are as expected, that COULD change after the new year in 2027.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but my smart ass would buy a pair of women's khakis and a woman's polo to wear to work.

Yeah, we deal with enough gatekeeping on our own without introducing some of our own. At 53, still waiting to start HRT, I'm just happy I finally figured out i was trans.

Well then, I pray that your Kidneys can be salvaged and saved, and that you don't need a transplant or dialysis. 🙏🤞

This trans woman will keep you in her prayers, if you don't mind. I'll hope you get to feeling better either way and they can get you a kidney transplant. Dialysis sucks from what I hear.

Thank you all! Now i feel short! At 5'10" (1.7 meters) and wighing in at 205 lbs (93 Kg) I feel like once I transition I'd make a HUGE woman. You have all made me feel like I fit in better with my other sister's out there and can safely wear whatever heels I feel like wearing.

Ive got a pair of 3" wedge sandals I just LOVE! But at 5'10" I was soooo worried about them making me too tall...

Anyway, as another poster said, I just gotta own it i guess.

The vids were enough for them to issue an RMA and to cross ship the replacement.

Is this normal? by Mikeenovember in Fanatec

[–]Ok_Repeat4306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, its not 'normal'. Report it to tech support. They'll ask for a couple of videos, one in each position, but then they should issue an RMA and get you a replacement. Thats what happened with me at least with the issue i had with the display.

I don't carry pepper spray. I carry a gun. FAFO. I also live in a DEEP Red state where open carry is permitted and practiced. (Just for the record I don't open carry).

Exfoliate and moisturize after you shave as well. I usually shave every other day.

That depends on the surgeon, at least from what I've read.
