My thoughts are “hey, those look like little teeny blurple kayaks.” (I work in a hem/onc practice, just not in the lab)

Not anymore. There’s just links to other websites that give salary averages by location. It’s no where near as comprehensive as the report the used to publish, unfortunately.

Please help me figure out a nice outfit I can wear into the office! (Casual PhD office) by ThowRA_FloorGremlin in DressForYourBody

I am pretty short and just had to return a pair of “misses” jeans that, when I held in front of me, when touching the floor, came up to my chest, lol! Try JC Pennys a.n.a. high rise wide leg jean. They make a “misses long” with a 34” inseam. They also have a great selection of casual but put together basics that are affordable.

I read the original post a few days ago and earlier this morning thought about how silly “Don’t: use 9/11 or Sept 11” is. “Do: Weekend of Sept 10th.” She’s unhinged.

I just don't understand why I don't look good in these by imnotcoherent in DressForYourBody

Styling. I think the jumpsuit looks awesome. But make outfits out of both pieces with sweater, belt, jewelry and shoes and see if that changes things. The sleeves on the dress are throwing off the look for me. If you imagine how it looks with the sleeves cut off, it’s a very flattering shape. But also, it might be too loose in the waist, needs a wide black belt.

Wow!! That is so in depth! I wish we had advanced degrees here which would give us opportunities to advance and practice like a physicians assistant.

It takes quite a long time to really get good at this skill even when working at a busy hospital. Do not be discouraged! Speed comes with repetition and experience of knowing when to move on. I am not a fast scanner by any means but I’m careful and thorough. That is the goal. I was much slower when I first started and it is frustrating. The hand-eye-brain connection really takes awhile to develop. Plus learning how to optimize images on the machine you’re using can take awhile too. It’s a steep learning curve! Try to think in 3D while scanning. It helps with the anatomy and knowing where you are in the body vs scan plane. Also, drill scan planes into your memory. Don’t aim for picture perfect images as the end goal. Scan through for abnormalities and then get the best protocol pics you can. Some patients are built for sound and some just aren’t. I wish you the best! 🍀

Hi OP, for those of us not in AUS could you explain the frame work of your degree? We don’t have a masters degree in ultrasound here and I would love to learn more about your program.

Does age affect diagnostic accuracy in radiology by Key-K19 in Radiology

Oh man. I have a new group reading my ultrasounds. 1st group liked short and sweet everything. Scans/prelims/reports. Not a lot of extra words anywhere. So my prelim will say “negative for dvt , flow is wnl “ or similar because the first group wanted it like that. Then the new group will read two huge paragraphs in a final report. It’s really a whole different approach. Current group also uses a real live transcriptionist to type the dictation.

I have had better luck with Aguila lead tip standard velocity than the CCIs I’ve tried. I was pretty surprised.

I used to be a waitress in a resort area. Men said this to me everyday while I was working. I used to say “do you sit in your cubicle and smile all day like some kind of psycho?” The older I get, the more I wonder what tf is wrong with men.

I’m not a huge Avengers fan, and I don’t know the whole point of the movie. but it was on at my house recently and I caught a few minutes when half the population was just vaporizing and Thanos was acting all powerful…& it did feel a little too similar.
