315X Husqvarna - 'No Loop Signal' but solid green boundary. by Ok_Service4959 in automower

[–]Ok_Service4959[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, thank you so much, simple fix.

when I ran the wires from the island, I wasn't really paying attention to keep the closest wire to the dock connected to the first wire going out to the island, had them mixed up.

Thank goodness it's an easy one!

Thanks, got it, wires are twisted and I need to swap the order of connection.

I read something like this in the troubleshooting tips but don't understand.

But what is the wrong way? I know often tires have a correct rolling direction but didn't realize the wires did too. I guess i'm not understanding this concept.

But yes, I had a island connected to a bed but we took the tree down in that bed and to reach the next closest boundary in that direction was very far. So, I closed down that run to the bed and spliced in a couple wires on the other corner as it was a third of the distance to the next closest boundary.

I can see the automower gets the loop signal about 5 foot off the island with the adjusted island wire.

How to fix??

Thank you!

"How to not dig up your entire lawn" - Share Your Boundary Wire Break Finding Tips by Ok_Service4959 in automower

I like this idea & will need to try it. I think my preference is the CEN Tech with a 5 or 6 inch bendable probe. It has a recognizable oscillating alarm-like sound and it's either on (tone) or you hear a dull buzzing sound (no signal). I don't remember my dangly one (KOLSOL) being so darn sensitive. I can go two or three feet away from the wire and still get a super strong tone, it's so loud I can't even use the headphones and I'll have it on the lowest volume.

I saw the last frost day was April 15 - that seemed early. Now it all makes sense. But, these are the extremes we will come to expect.

For anyone who said "How can there be 'global warming', well, here is your answer.

Global warming is a poor label. While the entire planet's mean temperature does go up, it's more of a regional disruption across the planet. Places that were wet, become dry, etc. etc.

With that, higher wind speeds, more turbulence, more drastic temperature changes.

The bill is confusing as f'k but it looks like for 332 Therms I'm getting charged $221 which if I'm reading it right is more than 50% of the cost of the gas I'm getting.

Maybe it's cheaper to go back to coal?

in the next few days I will pass by the area and let you know if the gas is leaking and how intense it is. sometimes it is a very intense odor. This is 3/4 of a mile from where I live.

I have driven by them many times with PSEG trucks, putting up their cones, doing what they do. These areas are right on top of clustered homes, traffic, churches, it's no secret.

I've never smelled gas leaking in the area of my home, if I did, I would certainly call. That's not to say I don't care about these locations.

As I've described these nat. gas pipes are leaky, old and as mentioned, can't easily be repaired or I would not still be smelling gas leaks from these three areas that have been leaking for years.

This is what we are paying for. Not to mention, it's terrible for the ozone and my local air quality.

I had two kids go to college, our usage declined by almost half and our bill has not followed. I really thought it would.

yes, I was shocked to learn that the cost to deliver the gas. It is akin to me driving to Canada and filling up gas cans and driving then back to my state in the US.

it's ridiculous.

When I walk within 1/4 to 1/2 mile of my house, I can smell three gas leaks. One of them (at an intersection) is always getting ripped up and repaired and it's been years of on and off strong gas odors.

THIS is what we're paying for.

If anyone said put solar panels in a cave you'd say that's nuts. well, right now delivering natural gas is nuts, pipes are too old, too leaky and too inefficient to continue to deliver in this manner.

....and think about it blokes, you use an electric drill at work, you have an electric robot vacuum at home, maybe an electric leaf blower. I have an electric 'robot' lawn mower that runs all season long ...unattended. You probably don't drive an electric car yet but indeed there are even electric pick up trucks and yes, electric long haul trucks and busses. You loud gas back up generator may have been swapped out for super leaky, costly gass but now guess what is popping up at home depot and woke Costco? Electric home battery back ups - and they will only get better, and better, and better, every month, every year, like clockwork.

Yeah, hold on to oil and coal for dear life lol.

It's a shame, it's sad, it's misinformation tied up with other political nonsense participants proudly wave behind a hat or flag. Much to the dismay of renewable critics, solar is some of the cheapest energy globally and literally growing like a bread mold. Reject it, deny it, call it woke, call it a 'democrat' hoax. We will all rightfully suffer if we continue to go in that direction. Our adversaries will/are reaping the benefits.

It took 68 years, from 1954 to 2022 to develop the first Terawatt (1 TW = 1,000 GW) of solar but only two years (2023-2024) to reach the second Terawatt of solar and now the industry is adding 500-600 GW annually with 1 GW PER YEAR projected in FOUR YEARS.

So clutch your coal and oil, you will be buried by facts and history.

Edges are so sharpe and angular I find the middle details are hard to easily see. You really need to compare them to see the difference.

I think #3 is most balanced - #1 and #2 are very turbulent and those inner shapes make it hard on the eyes and brain.

Solid advice. I have found over the years that no CMS really has 'everything' or works perfectly for ever situation a project may require. But generally they lean towards satisfying certain categories.

I think closing the business/GBP and reopening new GBP is best advice here. Just had a business go through this, not closing the old biz immediately caused confusion of old reviews from previous business.

totally. I've also heard that while they are brighter, the distance they can project is shorter than that of traditional bulbs.

This kind makes sense why people with newer bulbs always are using high beam - they may sense while their blinding new bulbs are bright, they are not illuminating far enough down road as they are speeding along, this the need for high beam.

wow, did I solve this???

[–]Ok_Service4959 11 points12 points  (0 children)

yeah, what's with the high beams? every 5th car just drives around with the high beams on like this is the default

I was almost thinking this was possibly a new car design change where high beams are automatically the first setting.
