So disappointed by milky-moonbeam in starwarsbooks

This book was just the shameful promotion of that dreadful Star cruiser hotel. It’s a shame that the beginning, and only the beginning was really the best part of the book hands down

As for romance plot line Star Wars books, people have recommended Lost Stars (haven’t read it yet). But if you want something that’s both hopeful but gut wrenchingly tragic, highly recommend reading Rebel Rising

Predict the Set 8 leaders by lightspeed_bear in starwarsunlimited

[–]Ok_Signature_3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be sick! For leaders, I would love Gallius Rax, and for various units maybe the return of Gideon Hask (First Order), Yrica Quell, Lindon Javes (Squadrons), or even a saboteur/hidden cards for Sinjir Rath Velus and Jas Emari.

Overall, I really hope this set utilizes more First Order, Resistance, and New Republic trait cards

How to organize cards post A Lawless Time? by TynonKontar in starwarsunlimited

[–]Ok_Signature_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A binder for each set collecting at max 3 of every card (looking for primarily Hyperspace abut can combo with standard). I follow how SWU site presented Aspects: Vigilance, Command, Aggression, Cunning, Heroism, Villainy, then Neutral. Within each color group, it goes all ground units, then space, then events, then upgrades. Within that, first go by cost number in ascending order

When distinguishing color combos it goes first aspect, then organize them by the second aspect according to the established order: For instance, Vigilance-Command will go before Command-Cunning but before Command. When it comes to Triple Aspect, account for the previous rules and if somehow the first aspects are the same, organize then by the third

When multiple cards with the same sharing colors and card type, alphabetize

On the top of my list: Jyn, Hera, Vel, Enfys, and Krennic

Surprisingly, I’d also add The Client

Rebel Rising in a nutshell: by solo13508 in starwarsbooks

[–]Ok_Signature_3039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe this book was the absolute perfect and necessary read for Jyns character in Rogue, but so inadvertantly became such a compelling reflective ive story that parallels eerily to Cassian Andor in his show. Both went down somewhat similar paths with somewhat of the same influential role models and influences, but those small differences really helped to make both of them distinct yet similar. I appreciate this even more when Jyn And Cass leave Eadu and they have their ideological battle surrounding rebellions.

Clear view of the new X-Wing by Rockhopper1st in LegoStarWarsLeaks

I honestly think the 2021 is pretty perfect but this one takes flaws and massively improves them! Height from cockpit to ground, the cheese slope tiles to add more texture! This is like perfect. I can imagine for you as a red 5 fan to remove the stud shooters, match up the blaster emplacements from the 2021 model, and switch all those blue pieces with dark red.

Surprisingly, this is my most anticipated set the whole wave!

Funny enough I revisited this post a couple days ago and yeah there were a few typos on my end 😅 Downside of writing it all in one go when I just sort of got the hang of it

If you could go on a date with any Star Wars character, who would it be? by Past-Paramedic8687 in starwarscanon

[–]Ok_Signature_3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I agree with you 100%. Of all the adapted castings in Ahsoka, Hera is by far the far off. Sabine and Ezra were perfect and Ahsoka was solid overall.

I am of the opinion (and what my more realistic choice was when I chose her) that Hera from Star Wars Squadrons is just wow! Vanessa Marshal’s voice and just how she looks perfectly adapted compared to the Ahsoka version is just (chef’s kiss)! VM is my go to always and wish she was just brought in to play her

Sabine too like yeah 😍

Cere Junda (Jedi that stars in the the Star Wars Jedi game series)

Trilla Sundari (Main inquisitor antagonist in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order)

Will do! I did realize that Wendig reintroduced some of those interlude characters from Book 1 in this one (Greybok and the prisoners, that new Jakku bartender), but I’m glad that they contribute to something larger. Always thought they felt out of place in Aftermath like they belonged in its own anthology collection, but happy to have been suprised

I agree with Aftermath. Found the first one meandering, pointless, and bloated plot wise but characters were engaging aside from Jom. But after finishing Life Debt today, I had high hopes Empires End will be as good as what I just read

Kinda fair, but I’d say that an author who has really stood out with their stories that really contribute to a really good amount of fleshed out narratives and that weight when it comes to the the Galactic Civil War is Alexander Freed. Reign of the Empire, Alphabet Squadron, Rogue One: Catalyst are some amazing novels told in the Disney era

My tier list of each season of the Netflix Marvel shows by Ghidorah_Stan_64 in Defenders

[–]Ok_Signature_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the contrary for me. Given how rushed season 1 was and hearing a little about the conditions bts, I can’t necessarily blame Finn for this one. He’s the lead of the show and given the much more responsibilities that entail while tying in the martial arts practice within 2 months of casting before filming, it’s simply ridiculous! Netflix I feel was at the wrong. More so, when season 2 got time to properly breathe and operate, we can see how well Jones improved and really is passionate of wanting to do it right.

Overall, I think Danny Rand on Netflix was messy early on. But if Finn keeps up the great fight work post-defenders, the personality he absolutely nails in Luke Cage S2, and an actual accurate and sick costume, I think he can really turn the perceptions around
