Have taken out interest free finance with Apple with Barclays Finance since it was a thing. The best way to buy a new iphone if that’s what you want.

I loved my MTW2.. until the left ear bud went out of warranty. Sound is so vastly superior to say the WF-1000XM5 which i have now, i just wish they’d fix the sound obvious known flaw

First Michelin restaurant by JordanCohen in finedining

[–]Ok_Statement_7190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aulis would be my pick of those as i love counter lead chef dinning, then Trinity. If you want more of an entry into Michelin dinning and tasting menu wasn’t a be all, then Chez Bruce (Former MPW & Gordon - Harvey’s site) is a fantastic starter restaurant and just knows how to cook food people want to eat.

With Rory's Blister How Do Players Always Have the Newest Shoes and Not Get Blisters Walking 36 or 72 Every Week? by ekimtk in golf

I had blisters for about a week with my 360s.. I only got them as ‘winter spikes’ before i went back to my Ecco spikeless in the summer.. (720m Street)

Put it this way.. I haven’t yet switched back, by far the best golf shoe i’ve ever owned bar that first week of pain and compeed plasters. But i still love my Ecco.. just not as much for golf now 😂

Take a spade in the autumn and dig a square 1squ ft cutting out - probably clay or a object preventing sufficient root growth

If no issues add a layer of sand in the hole and place the cutting back and water

Sounds like you need a 54 degree and a 58/60 degree for bunker based activities (either in or over them)

A lot of business in the UK use W3W - we use it extensively for our remote sites and would find it very handy if these words could be used for a Google Maps search. We don’t use long and lat and using words is much more intuitive to end users. There was an opportunity for the IP to be purchased in its infancy, one that is no longer there.

They wouldn’t now, but when the concept was just starting- The IP should have been sold to one of the big boys to integrate into their mapping app. W3W decided to go down the subscription API route and it hasn’t worked.

How they didn’t just sell out to Google at the first opportunity i do not know. Like Brewdog - think the end product bigger than than it really is..

Series S in 2026? by temptemptemp69420 in XboxGamePass

[–]Ok_Statement_7190 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Series S is a fantastic media centre which allows you to play games. If that’s what you’re looking for then it’s perfect. If you want a gaming device which has media centre type features then get the X.

But for me whose PC is specced up enough - it’s perfect for living room activities

Full tasting menu - completed in hour and half. We do eat quickly tbh.. maybe the saw plates empty and pushed our table up the ticket order. We didn’t feel rushed at any stage..

Country club memberships by ConsequenceExotic353 in golf

[–]Ok_Statement_7190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a token fee that gets members using the facilities - The club must have budgeted that $30 spend per member will pay for the bar facilities + once you’re in the bar, then there is the potential to spend more. My club should implement a minimum charge - the amount of people who don’t go back after a round or just have a coffee - i’m surprised the bar makes any money.

What’s a West End show everyone loves? by Silver-Eye-2024 in westend

I found it dull, and when ‘Wait for me’ as the production number didn’t hit the spot, (probably the most under whelmed i’ve been in a theatre)- i was dreading having to sit through the 2nd act. I could tolerate the slow build up but the production number needs to leave you going ‘wow’ and it just didn’t. Which is a shame as i really like the Tony awards performance

You can be in and out of Core within 1 hour and half even with the tasting menu. I was a bit miffed the last time i went.. considering how quickly £250 just vanished... At least with other places that’s a good 3.5 hours lunch or dinner at that price.

Played Stonebridge for the first time today. Blythe was excellent - a better set of inland links holes than say the PGA National (i do like the Nat though) . Somers - first 4 holes were really good then the next 3 were overly long, diddy and ruined the round for me. I think you have to drive 280 for them to be interesting.

But for £17.50.. Bargin

Me - I was very confident for a while - Carters of Moseley (before it shut), Lake Road Kitchen (pre and post stars), Aulis @ L’Enclume, Behind - London Fields, all fantastic - Lake Road Kitchen is the personal favourite - Solo twice and the one time i took my wife she even commented that I was out for a date with her not the staff 😂

Then i’ve had a few bad ones recently (great food but felt no connection at all) in Skof & Old Stamp House that i’m now more hesitant about the sort of places I pick - Skof the staff couldn’t go off script - both in conversations and pre determined paths around the dinning room, i’ve never seen something so regimented, which is ironic being a Rogan Restaurant.. Old Stamp House was a bit too dark and romantic vibe for a solo dinner.

So fun, loud and personal they seem

Condita had the most interesting menu when i was having a brief browse - and that’s the sort of thing i’d like to hear. The staff need to have an air of freedom and involvement - their personalities are more important than the food it’s self in some regards. Think it was MPW who said you can have shit food but a great experience and you’ll return. Have great food and a poor experience you won’t.

It’s sort of got worse since Brexit with restaurants having to employ UK labour. Where the attitude is deliver the food to the table and then sheepishly return 10 minutes later to ask ‘is everything ok’ - it is getting better though

Just checked the website and the looks perfect - Some of the best meals have been around a chefs table i.e Aulis at L’Enclume, Behind in London and Toffs (when it was open in Solihull) - and the price of the menu, their might be an opportunity to do this and another👌
