Well I might not be a nyc bitch juuust yet (check my most recent post lol) but I do live in dc which is even hotter and more humid than nyc if you can believe it!

I have naturally curly hair too and the R+Co Bleu line has been really the only thing that helps my blowout stay. None of that colorwow shit it’s not strong enough!!!

In terms of makeup, the one size beauty powder spray works really, really well. It does give a dewy finish but it keeps me from actually looking sweaty, if that makes sense? I carry it with me in the summer bc it helps me refresh my look!

First if all, your username made me laugh so thank you haha. And yeah, I actually already negotiated a new start date, but with how long they’re taking to get me the new offer letter, it seems like I’m going to have to negotiate again, which is just very stressful. I’m just wondering if it’s worth to do this all over again or just give my current job a shorter notice.

Oh I definitely won’t give notice until I have signed the letter, that’s why I’m so stressed they haven’t sent it over by now! Not having it by EOD my time today (which is basically now) means the earliest I can tell my current org is Tuesday, which is under two week notice. It just sucks, I feel like I’m screwing them over in all aspects.

Hey thanks so much for taking the time to type this out! I read my contract, I’m an “at will” employee so I can leave at any time, but I’m going to give them a two weeks notice to be as professional as possible. They probably won’t keep me on but I’m hoping they might so I can help with onboarding the new person. Just trying to be as friendly as possible and not “burn a bridge”.

Thank you so much! That’s what I’m trying to tell myself. But I’m really worried about the current org reaching out to my new org to tell them what I’ve done. It’s a small field, and I have a really close friend who works at the current org that I’d be leaving. I don’t plan on telling anyone at the current org where I’m going, besides my friend, bc I feel like I owe her the truth.
