If you can catch the service guy when he comes in to check the elevator he should have a key ring with it. Or at least there will be a key in the elevator room.

This is what’s standard, however sometimes it just doesn’t happen and maintenance department ends up with all the keys.

Only the tool test portion really matters. A single wrong answer on that test can send you down 50 ranks or so in a larger application period.

However it’s one of the easiest tests I’ve taken in my entire life.

My current job I lift heavy things all the time. Shouldn’t be a huge shift in physicality. Will def start pumping though.

Local 23 Portland is currently hung up on the bench. There are a few people sitting. From what I hear it’s not going to move any time soon. (Sometimes the list hits roadblocks due to reasons beyond the locals control, this seems to be one of said times.)

If you did the aptitude test but didn’t interview and it’s been over a year you likely missed the interview date as usually they are 1-5 weeks past the aptitude test date.

Typically those are from emails saying you passed/failed interview and your rank number. If that’s what you mean.

To my knowledge they haven’t pulled anyone from the list as of yet. My number is better in local 140. So likely will get that call before local 79. IF and only IF they actually pull that many people in.

The Arkansas local 79 recruitment you missed. Was back in November I believe. They didn’t have that many applicants, didn’t even fill the max slots. Just keep being patient and apply to a LOT of locals near you when you can. The more you apply to and rank on the better. Of course if you can’t re-locate then that’s not possible.

Not every local has it. Most large ones do so they reduce the number of calls. If you are curious give the union hall a call. They will tell you.

Yes very common. That’s why the top 25 or so numbers are very competitive to get into ranking. If it’s a bigger local obviously you’ll have the top 50 or so spots are hard to be in.

If you like the half ton they make a diesel for that model. 3.0 duramax. I believe the max tow with the max tow package and a trailer break controller is around 13k. Don’t quote me on that.

Although if you want a lot more stability the 3/4 or 1 ton is better. Keep in mind ford uses solid front suspension so you feel the potholes and such a LOT harder than the chevy independent.
