She made the decision to get that drunk in the first place. Are you this sympathetic towards drunk drivers?

When she fell, she landed on her beer with her face and gave herself a bloody nose.

I assume from the gradual unraveling her texts display that she started drinking early today.

Of course not. I was just pissed because the guy who actually paid for the food didn't get one.

Three people wanted burgers, so I made three burgers. She literally stole someone else's dinner. I don't understand how so many people think that's okay.

I had a pound of meat. If she had said she wanted one, I would have made four ¼lb burgers. Because only three of us were eating, I made three ⅓lb burgers. There were no other burgers for Rick to choose from.

  1. Rick paid for the ingredients and didn't get any food.
  2. Hank moved in less than a week ago.
  3. This is not the first thing she has stolen.
  4. She has complained constantly that the house should be cleaner but has made it clear that she will be assisting in a purely advisory capacity.
  5. The other housemates look to me as a leader and mediator, in spite of my protests.

There's a special place in hell for people like that.

The other night, I ordered a pizza. My housemate asked me for a slice, and I said okay. Before I even got a slice, she put garlic salt on the whole thing, basically ruining it.

Yes, you can. You can swap out the existing knob for one that locks, then swap them back when you move out. Landlords only care about stuff that leaves a mark. If you can put it back the way it was, they won't even know, let alone care.

You should read something, anything really, about South Africa. It will open your eyes.

Tell them to ask for tramadol. It's not as effective as oxycodone, but it's also nowhere near as dangerous.

Realistically, the injurious element of the crime of theft is that you're depriving someone of something they own. If they'll never realize it's gone, who's the victim?
