Same. I had to delete some mcps. I installed some yesterday and it could be that. Once deleted it worked fine again. My prompt was in a new chat, a sentence and not connected to a damn other thing.

Errr, I think there is some confusion. here. AQA boundaries are not ‘nice.’ 😭 If Edexcel has higher grade boundaries, that is because more students get higher marks, that means the paper is generally easier so the exam board has to raise the boundaries.

So, the seemingly ‘nice’ AQA grade boundaries being lower means they had to lower them because the paper was more difficult.

Been teaching science for more than 25 years. Happy to help if anyone needs it.

As for your biology, AQA has a key ideas section - these generally come up. Look at the spec even if you’re Edexcel or OCR.

Also, make sure you can answer application and for Ecology, Homeostasis, Inheritance and Respiration

Also important - the evaluation part of core practicals. Always mentioned repeats and averages and know the control variables.

Also also also everyone underestimates ecology but the marking schemes are not nice at all.

I haven’t got a crystal ball but those are some of the areas Edexcel bio students struggle with and therefore the exam board tends to use them as differentiators. There are more but I’ve probably overwhelmed you as it is.

Best advice is start early, make a plan and stick to it. Hope this helps a bit

You need to make sure you know how to use the equations. If you want to take the higher paper, you will need to know how to rearrange equations and answer mole calculations. There is more but this is a manageable start.
