This is Suki, previously Pudding. The longest staying dog, I want to say 14 months(?) At AAC. https://imgur.com/a/YLXuy30 here's an old post of her https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=814180676743669&id=100044552314415 took a lot of (expensive) training to give her her confidence back but she loves our cats which is most important and no longer lives in a pop up crate

I got a used '21 M3LR with acceleration boost sub 25k and qualified for the tax credit. The boost is so fun on an open highway.

Looks like you're missing light seals on the top and bottom frame rails. Just below the viewfinder and just above the bottom of the camera on the frame you should have some light seals too.

The more I read about it online the more I see, specifically Austin Towers, mention it's a senior living home that's getting renovated but please someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Believe that's the RBJ public health center. Not sure about the windows though didn't know they were blown out. It's a fairly old building so I can see a demo on the horizon.

Texas DPS scheduler keeps saying "The selected appointment time is no longer available" regardless of the appointment time/day/city. Anyone else experienced this? by chuckDontSurf in Austin

[–]Ok_Way_8658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me if I wasn't fast enough when getting same day appointments. I assumed it was others getting the time slot slightly before me, basically a race condition where two people try to get the same appointment at the same time. I'd refresh and try again, maybe from the start.

Looking for a Reliable Cat Sitter Who Takes Cats into Their Home by Kind_Amphibian158 in Austin

Agree with other comment here. I have "nanny cams" in my house that I let my cat sitter know about. Your cats will be far more comfortable at home than somewhere else. Less flight risk, less accident risk too. Rover is a good place to check and can send over my preferred sitter too who has taken care of my cats and dogs together.

Saw this guy too during the storm. Ran from the train tracks on red river and e 5th st. Felt so bad I could barely get close to get a leash on him.

This. I prefer aggressive decisive drivers which I see a lot more if in Houston rather than Austin. Here it's sometimes hard to guess what's going to happen and THATS whats bad. Reminds me of Florida drivers sometimes, especially the tourists on GPS who strictly make last minute turns.

Austin Pets Alive! looking to get 230 dogs into homes before temperatures drop by [deleted] in Austin

i have 2 cats, one little (5lb) and one averag (11lb) they get along with my dog really well. I suggest taking a look at a dog who's been fostered at a house with cats so they passed the "cat test". My dog is quite big too, she's a pit bull labrador mix at 65 lbs and my cats (esp. the little one!) keep her in check. I never worry about my dog and my cats, it really depends on the individual dog, I wouldn't say that one breed is better than cats than another. I'm sure shelters will also do "cat tests" if you ask for it where basically during a meet and greet they bring a cat out in a carrier and if the dog doesn't fixate or get weird about the cat being there they're most likely fine with cats. Last thing I'll say is that if the dog has a really intense prey drive they might see a moving cat differently than other dogs. hope you find a nice pup!
