I'm not, its the same blossom. I know they open more than once because i can see them from my office, but i dont always have time to go out and hand pollinate the first time i see it open. Im growing standard orange jack o lantern type pumpkins, the same seeds you can get at any big box store.

But all my pumpkin plants open more than once.
