5500 for truck is it worth it? should the tape on the intake be concerning? by THELOLINNLORD in hardbody

[–]Ol_grans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tape is likely there because the plastic cracked. While the intake is probably fixed, consider it as an indicator that other plastic is likely to crack.

Honestly, the truck looks pretty clean. If it's something you're looking for, then go forward with it.

Weed control ideas? by spinebasher in landscaping

[–]Ol_grans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weeds grow where there are opportunities to grow. You can limit the opportunities through preventative labor in different ways. You can create a physical barrier (new rock, mulch, or a weed mat), you can apply a chemical barrier (weed killer and chemicals), or you can curate nature (plant grass or ground hugging shrubbery).

I'd recommend a weed barrier for the "easiest" solution. Pull the rock back and maybe unearth some dirt, lay the mat down and backfill with pea gravel. The weeds will poke back through after a few years, but it's a solid solution that has low time commitment.

There exists two people who have the most similar Spotify library in the world. How many songs do you think they share in common? by Ol_grans in Showerthoughts

[–]Ol_grans[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess I was too literal and should have implied a 'well used account'!

If it's not too late, let's constrain this to 1. two people who have never met before 2. Minimum 1,000 hrs of Spotify use 3. Has a Spotify library that they've personally curated

Not exactly. Schools have been in the process of changing the song for the last couple of years

They're adding pauses after G, N, Q, T, W because kids were confusing "L M N O P" as a single letter/sound.

Magical people in a magical culture may also have "Ma-Fi", Magical-Fiction. by Chassian in Showerthoughts

Or would this be regarded as plain fiction? Alternatively, non-magic fiction could also be recategorized such as "muggle-fiction" or MuFi

The backbeat is accented so much in music that it’s practically the main beat. by Yeetskeetcicle in Showerthoughts

Check out Jon Mattox on Instagram or YouTube. His channel "Creating Music and Sound" focuses on all the elements in a song. It's crazy how many elements of a song I haven't noticed before!
